He completed his Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Western Australia and undertook his specialist training at the Forsyth Dental Center in Boston, USA, obtaining a Certificate in Orthodontics from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine/Forsyth Dental Center and a Master of Medical Science degree from the Harvard Medical School.

He was born and raised in Perth and graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree in 1987 and was awarded the prize of top student in his year and also the best clinician in his year. He completed his Post Graduate studies achieving a Master of Dental Science degree in Orthodontics more than ten years ago and has worked in private practice since that time.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas, USA, Associate Professor, Mike Razza earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, Texas, USA. Dr Razza later went on to receive his Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry, USA and has been teaching in the profession for 23 years and in private practice for 18 years.
