B.D. Sc. (W. Australia) Dr. Timothy Van enjoys long walks on the beach… In all seriousness, this is why he graduated from the University of Western Australia, so that he could enjoy the white sandy beaches before heading to Melbourne. Since then, he has been treating patients in the Inner North, serving all cultures and ages. Dr. Van also goes on annual voluntary dental CHAT trips to Vietnam, where he’s treated young orphans and the underprivileged in the beautiful countryside since 2008. Dr. Van believes very strongly in preventative dentistry, seeking to stop early dental problems from becoming unpredictable, expensive and time-consuming. He has a passionate interest in orthodontics and reconstructive dentistry (including implants). Dr. Van is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID) and the Australian Sleep Association (ASA). He is also an accreditated provider of Invisalign®, Truline® and ClearPath® invisible braces, as well as a graduate of Progressive Orthodontics.
