Dr. Morrissey was born in Kensington, CT and attended local schools graduating with honors. He then graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. and earned his medical degree at the prestigious Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Dr. Morrissey then began his surgical intership training in general surgery at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX, before entering the United States Air Force. He served on active duty for three years as a Captain and Flight Surgeon with the 20th Bomb Squadron at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. After finishing his active duty military service, Dr. Morrissey returned to Dallas, and Methodist Dallas Medical Center to complete his training in general surgery. Upon completion of his general surgery training, Dr. Morrissey continued his surgical training in Madison, Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics for two years of specialized training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Morrissey then pursued additional training and experience in Aesthetic Facial Surgery and Rhinoplasty (nose surgery) under the guidance of renowned facial plastic surgeons in Miami, Florida and Oakland, California. Dr. Morrissey is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas and Board Certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery to perform cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head, neck, trunk and extremities.
