Shaped “Gummy Bear” Silicone Gel Breast Augmentation

Highly cohesive silicone gel implants have recently become available in the form of devices having a "teardrop" or "anatomic" shape and contain the thickest gel (highly cohesive) available. These devices have a textured surface to prevent rotation and maintain correct orientation following placement. Dr. Strock has a large experience with the use of shaped highly cohesive silicone gel implants (also known as "gummy bear" implants) dates back to 2001 and the early clinical trials in the United States. What follows are examples of patients who have chosen these devices. These case studies show example of outcomes using highly cohesive silicone gel implants but do not constitute a guarantee of outcome.

Facelift

Facial aging results from both intrinsic changes in the skin and gravitational changes that affect the skin and deeper tissues of the face. Surgical correction is directed at a restoration of these soft tissues to their original anatomic configuration.
Liposuction

Liposuction

Liposuction, or suction-assisted lipectomy, improves soft tissue contour through removal of fat using conventional suction or with power-assisted or ultrasonic assistance. Recent advances in technology have allowed for the possibility of using the fat removed, if performed using some technique modifications, in primary or revision breast enhancement/reconstruction, and facial rejuvenation, in selected patients. Both. Both conventional and ultrasonic methods use a modified "tumescent" or superwet technique, where large amounts of a very dilute local anesthetic solution are used to pretreat the fatty deposits prior to surgical removal.

Mommy Makeover - Liposuction

Many patients seek combinations of procedures to address the changes that follow having children. That has led to the term “mommy makeover”. Most commonly, patients seek to improve the contour of the abdominal wall and restore volume and shape to the breasts. What follows are examples of patients who have allowed us to share their preoperative and postoperative photographs with you. These are examples of typical outcomes, but may not represent your preoperative situation or postoperative result.

Body Contouring

Body contouring encompasses a group of surgical approaches to improve soft tissue contour of the abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs. Liposuction, or suction-assisted lipectomy, improves soft tissue contour through removal of fat using conventional suction, or with mechanical or ultrasonic assistance. Conventional, power-assisted, and ultrasonic methods use a modified “tumescent” or superwet technique, where large amounts of a very dilute local anesthetic solution are used to pretreat the fatty deposits prior to surgical removal.
