Devotion to family, community and profession characterize Dr. Robert Jacobs best. Simple pleasures and activities bring the most satisfaction. While many might assume he lives the sophisticated life of a successful doctor, he thinks of himself as a regular guy who just happens to be a (highly regarded) plastic surgeon.

Commitment to community, particularly education plays a major role in his life. He is one of the founders of the Solomon Schechter Day School, a grammar school that provides outstanding education. Although all of his children are grown, he continues to volunteer for the Port Jefferson High School Prom Construction Committee – where the entire school is transformed into the prom theme, but of greater importance, it provides a safe environment for students on that special night. He can be regularly seen about town and commuting to work on his bicycle – it’s 1 part exercise, 2 parts fun. Photography is one of his regular hobbies; landscape and nature scenes interest him most.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A., Dr. Jacobs attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and graduated in 1972. He completed his General Surgery Residency at the Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, PA and his Plastic Surgery Residency at Temple University Hospital.

It takes only a moment with Dr. Warm to know what kind of surgeon and caregiver he is. Raised in Tannersville, NY, in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, small-town sensibilities guide his life and enrich those around him. Neighborly reliability and responsibility rule the day: A promise made is a promise kept. Dr. Warm cites his father as a major influence. His father helped found the Tannersville Rescue Squad, an area that had limited access to emergency services, “when people need help, you get it to them.” Dr. Warm applies the same principle to all facets of his personal and professional life.

After earning his B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Warm attended the University Autonoma of Guadalajara, graduating in 1979.

Following this, he completed a fifth pathway program at the State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School and was granted an M.D. degree from the State of New York. During his General Surgery Residency at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, NY, he was Chief Resident for the last two years.

Ever since his teens, Dr. Misholy has been finding beauty in form and structure. At sixteen he completed his first sculpture and has been finding the beauty within wood, stone and bronze ever since. In addition to his talent in the plastic arts, he played the flute as young man and spent time at sea as a marine engineer in the Israeli Merchant Fleet.

Dr. Misholy specializes in face lifts and places particular focus upon post-bariatric surgery, where patients face multiple challenges.

After graduating from Columbia University in New York with a B.S., Dr. Misholy attended the University of Missouri Medical School in Columbia, MO and graduated in 1977.

He completed his general surgery residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY, and in 1981 he completed a fellowship in microsurgery and clinical research at the University of Missouri Medical Center. His residency in plastic surgery was at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. Dr. Misholy joined CSNY in 1983.
