He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois. His residency in General Surgery was served at Rush Presbyterian — St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He was a resident in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at City Hospital in Nottingham, England and at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is Board certified in general surgery, as well as plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Greater Miami Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Florida Medical Association and Dade County Medical Society. Every year for the past 15 years, he has been named one of the Top Plastic Surgeons at either the local and national level by organizations such as Miami Metro Magazine, Guide to Top Doctors, Castle-Connolly Publishing, and the Consumer Research Council of America. All of these awards are generated by asking physicians who they would refer a family member to.

He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed a residency in Head / Neck surgery at Tulane University in New Orleans. He was granted a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. is Board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Wolf is a member of the American Medical Association, Sigma XI Honorary Scientific Society, Florida Medical Society, and Dade County Medical Society. He is also a regular guest on South Florida television and radio. An acclaimed author, Dr. Wolf writes popular columns for The Miami Herald and Cosmopolitan magazine in Spanish. He volunteers his medical services to victims of domestic violence. Born in Bogota, Colombia, Dr. Wolf is equally at home in Spanish and English.

A graduate of Beloit College with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, he earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He served his residency in Plastic Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. There, he was chief resident from 2010-2011. In 2011, he completed additional training at Chan Gung Hospital in Taiwan with a focus on microsurgery primarily in cancer reconstruction, followed by a fellowship at Gent University Hospital in Belgium where he specialized in breast reconstruction and fat grafting. He has an impressive history of publications and presentations and has received many academic achievement awards including the Walter S. Haven Prize, Elizabeth W. Souter Award and the Merck Index Award. Originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico, Dr. Franco is bilingual in English and Spanish.
