Facial contouring is achieved by removing excess skin and fat through discretely placed incisions. Another component of facelift surgery is to address the lax facial muscles that are causing the skin to droop and sag. These muscles are tightened and sutured into a higher, more youthful-looking position. The incisions are then closed and the procedure is complete.
 

Gynecomastia

Male breast reduction surgery is a safe, highly effective procedure to treat gynecomastia. Either local or general anesthesia is administered, depending upon the patient’s age and the amount of excess breast tissue. Dr. Sutkin will then remove the excess skin, glandular tissue, and fat through an incision in the chest. In some cases advanced endoscopic technology may be used that can reduce the size of the incision and the length of the recovery period.

Rhinoplasty

The type of procedure performed depends upon the amount of access that the surgeon will need to the underlying nasal structures. If the procedure requires an extensive amount of contouring, then open rhinoplasty is usually the most appropriate option. The only drawback to open rhinoplasty is that it leaves a minute, almost imperceptible scar whereas the scars from closed rhinoplasty are completely hidden inside the nose. Closed rhinoplasty is frequently chosen because it often provides all the access that is needed. During a rhinoplasty consultation Dr. Sutkin will learn about your individual goals and will determine the technique is best suited for your procedure.
 

Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)

The incisions that are made during tummy tuck surgery are carefully planned beforehand. Although scarring after abdominoplasty is inevitable, a skilled surgeon like Dr. Sutkin is able to place incisions so that the resulting scarring will be as discrete as possible. The main incision is usually located along the bikini line and another incision is made around the belly button. This is done so that the belly button can be relocated to a natural-looking position on the body once all of the excess skin has been removed.
