Biography:
With over 23 years of experience in Plastic surgery, Dr. Ghani is one of the founder plastic surgeons making up Laser & Plastic Surgery. After his schooling at Karachi Grammar School (1963 – 1978) he qualified from Dow Medical College, Karachi in 1985 and then went to England for further training in 1987. After his basic training in Surgery, he started his career in Plastic Surgery in 1990 from North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary. He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS), UK in 1992. During his training in plastic surgery he worked at over 5 renowned centres of plastic surgery in England including North Staffordshire NHS Trust, Leicester Royal Infirmary, Queen Mary’s University Hospital, London and Royal Devon & Exeter Hospitals. He trained with over a dozen plastic surgeons in England; some of them internationally recognised experts in their fields. He was honoured with Associate Membership of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) in 1998. Dr Ghani returned in 1998 to Pakistan after 11 years in UK.
