Dr. Van Den Broeck Surgery - Mauritius

I had my eyelid surgery here on a friend’s recommendation. They offered follow-ups, but I had to return home and couldn’t go for these. For the results and service, the price was great. There was a bit of swelling and it took 2-3 weeks to see the final outcome.

One of the things I didn’t like, is that you were clumped with all the other patients in a waiting room. They called out my name when it was my turn and I found this whole process quite bizarre. I would have liked a more private experience.

They were mostly able to understand me, though there was a bit of confusion at the front desk. I didn’t like the clinic’s lack of organisation. They didn’t explain certain things. For example, I had to enter through the back door of the hospital instead of the front. Better organisation would be great. This was the only issue I had.

The hospital and the surgeon were both fantastic.

My family and I are regular patients at this hospital, so they were the obvious choice for my breast reduction surgery. The procedure was worth the money, but the price was relatively high and my health insurance was unable to cover it because I’d just taken out a new insurance policy. I’ll have to wait a few working days before I can use this insurance. I’m just waiting for the time to lapse so I can resume my treatment. I’m satisfied with the results thus far.

I really like this hospital and the way the staff treats their patients. The place is very clean. I was told the price before the appointment and I got the quote in an email from the doctor. My follow-ups went fine, and I’m just waiting to go back now.
