Dr. Dimitrios Motakis is a graduate of McGill University, where he completed his medical degree (MD), his doctorate in medical research (PhD), as well as his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Motakis is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC). After completing his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, he decided to further sub-specialize. He completed a fellowship in aesthetic surgery, training in the latest surgical and non-surgical techniques in cosmetic surgery and facial rejuvenation. He subsequently completed a second fellowship in breast reconstruction, gaining expertise in correcting the most complex and challenging breast deformities. Over the years, Dr. Motakis has trained with many prominent plastic surgeons and has performed the latest techniques in plastic surgery, especially in the areas of breast reconstruction and cosmetic plastic surgery.
