Dr. Humphreys attended the University of Saskatchewan where he received his Medical Degree, with great distinction in 1997. He then completed a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2002 and subsequently completed fellowship training in hand, peripheral nerve and micro surgery at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Whidden is a Cosmetic and Reconstructive surgeon specializing in facial and body aesthetic surgery, ranging from breast augmentations to tummy tucks. Dr. Whidden’s practice is based on patient referrals and his commitment to provide the most advanced medical practices and the highest level of patient care. While his education, training and board certifications establish him as a leader in his field, his dedication to patient care remains the hallmark of his practice.

Dr. Whidden received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the prestigious Queen’s University in 1990. He then obtained his Medical Degree with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 1995 where he went on to complete his Plastic Surgery Residency. He continued his education at the University of British Columbia where he received post-fellowship training in breast surgery, microvascular surgery and hand surgery. In 2001, Dr. Whidden returned to his hometown of Calgary, Alberta where he has built a very successful and busy cosmetic practice.

As a second generation Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Whidden has had extensive exposure, education and training from world-renowned experts to become one of Calgary’s leading plastic surgeons.
