The Park View Acupuncture and Chiropractic Clinic which opened in April 1996 is a leading chiropractic and acupuncture facility for patients of all ages.

Their chiropractors treat problems with the spine, migraines, neck pain, shoulder pain, arthritic pains, hip and leg pains, elbow pains, foot and ankle pain and various joint pains.

Their acupuncturists perform a full diagnosis on all patients and can help relieving mild depression, stress, anxiety, catarrh, arthritic pains, migraine, high blood pressure, hay fever, indigestion, tiredness, anxiety, hiatus hernia symptoms and various other problems. The clinic also has in house facilities to supply remedies like Orthopaedic pillows, supplements, belts and straps.

Biography:
Registered Chiropractor Member of the British Chiropractic Association and The College of Chiropractors. Jan grew up in Vordingborg 90 km south of Copenhagen in Denmark. At 11 years of age he had his first chiropractic treatment for low back pain and it was then he set his heart on becoming a chiropractor. In 1987 he started studying chiropractic full time. First at Odense Universitet in Denmark and then at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth. After graduating 1992 he moved to Worthing where he practised as an associate for four years. Then he and his acupuncturist wife Sarah opened Park View Acupuncture & Chiropractic Clinic. Park View Clinic now boasts three chiropractors, two acupuncturists and a sports injury/massage therapist who also offers manual lymphatic drainage. In 2000 Sarah and Jan had a daughter, Anya, who enjoys going to a local school. Jan holds the post as Regional Tutor for Continuing Professional Development within the College of Chiropractors and he is Past Chairman and the current Secretary of Worthing Round Table.

Acupuncturist Member of the British Acupuncture Council Certificate of Beijing Licentiate in Acupuncture Registered General Nurse Sarah grew up in Worthing and became a Registered Nurse. While nursing she sustained a back injury and found that Acupuncture was the only thing that actually helped her. Sarah gained a Licentiate in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1992 from British College of Acupuncture. In 1998 she went to China where she received a Certificate of Beijing. For years Sarah has found treating gynaecological and fertility problems very rewarding. She always uses the latest proven methods in her treatment. In 1996 Sarah and her husband Jan (chiropractor) set up Park View Clinic, which now has two acupuncturists. In 2000 Sarah and Jan had a daughter, Anya, who was born at home using acupuncture and homeopathy. Sarah also enjoys playing golf.

Chiropractor Member of the College of Chiropractors. 

Upon qualifying Ian worked in a couple of complementary Health Clinics in London, including Neals Yard in Covent Garden, as well as running his own practice in West London. Two years ago he and his family returned from a 5 year stint in Australia, where Ian ran two successful clinics in Melbourne, treating a broad range of patients of all ages. Currently he also works part-time in Bexhill, where he lives with his wife and 5 year old son.

In 2000 Ian qualified as a McTimoney chiropractor from the Oxford Chiropractic College and gained his degree from Oxford Brookes University in 2001. Subsequently he has done further education in Patient Management, Diversified Chiropractic Technique, Activator Technique and Cranial Sacral Technique. During his years in practice he has adopted various chiropractic techniques, styles and practices including: Post Isometric and Positional Release Techniques, Postural Rehabilitation, Acupressure & Scoliosis Analysis.

Acupuncturist Member of The British Acupuncture Council Certificate of Beijing Licentiate in Acupuncture Registered Midwife Gill trained as a nurse at St George’s Hospital in London where she worked for 2 years after graduating. Her interest in acupuncture originates from travelling for 2 years in Asia and Australia. Gill completed a 3 year course in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1992 to gain a Licentiate in Acupuncture from the British College of Acupuncture. She married and moved to Emsworth in 1994 and practised acupuncture from home whilst working as a midwife bringing both skills together where possible. In 2000 she gave up midwifery to practise acupuncture full-time, partly at Park View and partly from her home trying to fit in looking after her son, Jake.

Biography:

Sara grew up in Worthing and qualified as a Sports Therapist from Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology in 2002. She enjoyed the course and career opportunities so much that she wanted to further her depth of her knowledge in the area. Continuing her professional development with an undergraduate degree at University College Chichester, Sara embarked on establishing a physical therapy career that has now broadened into complementary services, with the VTCT Baby Massage Instructor being the latest service that Sara has to offer.  

Sara played volleyball until 2009 when she decided focus on her running and cycling. She enjoyed many years of playing as part of a team and used her career skills as the England Junior Women’s Sports Therapist in 2005. For a year she maintained the team’s fitness to the highest possible standards both during training and at international tournaments in both Norway and Italy. Nowadays Sara uses her passion for activity for both personal fitness and to raise money for charity events such as her parachute jump from 13,000 ft for Chestnut Tree House and the Cancer Research Race for Life.
