Rob was born and raised in Treorchy.
He graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2006 and has been mainly applying his knowledge and skills over the border in England, primarily Portsmouth and Nottingham.
After spending the last 5 years working in a busy multi-disciplined clinic in Nottingham, he decided it was about time he returned home to the Valleys.
Rob has always been a huge fan of sport, primarily Rugby but in his younger years he did represent Wales in Basketball at under 18 level. He has been involved with Treorchy RFC ever since he picked up a rugby ball at 11 years old and since 2012 has been a part of the medical team at the club.
During his 11 years as a Chiropractor, Rob has become a confident and capable Chiropractor. He is a very competent spinal manipulator and has also become proficient in using myofascial dry needling (medical acupuncture) techniques, soft tissue massage and muscle release methods during his treatments. He has a keen interest in sports related problems and postural aggravations.
Laura grew up in Oxfordshire and moved to Wales when she was 18.
Laura has always had a keen interest in science and the human body and decided to train to be a Chiropractor after seeing the benefits of treatment for herself after struggling with low back pain during her second pregnancy.
Laura graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2016. She has worked in clinics in Bargoed and Newport. Laura helped out players on the 'Hockey for Heroes' tour with some pitch side treatment when they came to South Wales in 2017. Laura has also completed extra training in order to become more skilled in the treatment of women during pregnancy, as this is a keen interest of hers. Laura has also completed qualifications in myofascial dry needling (medical acupuncture).
Laura is a confident chiropractor, and has an approachable manner. Laura has recently been invited to be a guest speaker at a local college, helping students to learn about postural assessment and neurological testing.
