I am very impressed with life clinic and would recommend this practice

5 50 Chiropractor Consultation, Medical X-Ray

A very friendly, professional clinic . I experienced a thorough examination and X-rays. My concerns were quickly found, explained and a plan of action was put into place for my recovery. After 3 visits I am already feeling much better, original discomfort to my knees and shoulder is feeling much better.


X-rays showed my problem was coming from my neck . I was recommended to Life clinic by a friend receiving treatment for a trapped nerve in her back. I am very impressed with life clinic and would recommend this practice.

Many thanks to all receptionist for welcoming me with a smile and being so kind, patient and helpful. Many many thanks to Dr Jayden for putting my mind at rest and helping me on my journey to recovery which is already working.

Back Pain Treatment

Your lower back is more susceptible to injury because it is a very unstable part of your spine that is not supported by your rib cage, unlike your thoracic spine. Although this instability facilitates greater mobility, it also makes that part of your body more prone to injury. Fortunately, as long as your lower back is functioning correctly, it can withstand tremendous forces without sustaining any injury.

Chiropractic adjustments work by helping to place your spine and body in the proper position that then allows the body to heal itself.

Chiropractic care aims to address the whole body, a natural, drugless approach enhancing patients’ ability to think, move and perform.

Because the nervous system controls every cell and organ in your body, chiropractors focus attention on the health of the spine being properly aligned.

If the spine shifts out of its proper place, then adjustments are used to help bring the spine back into alignment.

Chiropractor Consultation (40 mins, 2 sessions)

• Comprehensive review of your health history

You will be asked to complete a health history questionnaire which gives us a good overview of your general health history, this is important in understanding how your past may have contributed to your current chiropractic health.

• Chiropractic Examination

(Orthopaedic, Neurologic and Palpation)
Your dedicated chiropractor will carry out an initial chiropractic examination, covering things like flexibility, range of movement, posture and many other general areas.

• Postural & Spinal Assessment

As part of your examination we will cover your posture, a key part of assesing your general chiropractic health.

• X-ray imaging

If your chiropractor feels it necessary they will carry out a digital spine x-ray. This will help in many cases to quickly ascertain the root cause of any pain and discomfort you are experiencing. (any number of x-rays needed are included)

• A report of findings

Following your initial chiropractic consultation we will book a date for you to return so we can run through a full report of findings with you. This will explain what was found in the consultation and x-rays, our recommendations and your on-going treatment plan.

At Life Chiropractic, we use the latest Digital X-ray equipment and software which provides instant results direct to our computers. This means we can start analysing your results immediately to provide you with the appropriate care as soon as possible.

Occasionally we may need to use X-rays to help alert our chiropractors to any serious health conditions you are experiencing. This isn’t always necessary for every client but is something we will consider using to make sure your treatment plan is the most effective method for you.

Our chiropractors are trained in Radiography and Radiology which means they are fully qualified to take the X-rays and interpret the results.

I became a chiropractor after receiving chiropractic care myself.

As a teenager I suffered from severe headaches and was fortunate enough to live next door to a chiropractor.  He adjusted my neck and that was it, I was hooked, no more headaches and boundless amounts of energy.  I realised what a difference I could make to the lives of others with chiropractic.  I worked hard to support myself through university and graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 2005.

After working with a very experienced chiropractor for a year I took over his clinic in Basildon in 2007.  Since then I have opened the Southend and Rayleigh Life Chiropractic Clinics. My clinics are staffed by a friendly and knowledgeable team, boasting some of the top chiropractors in Essex.

It is my ambition that everyone should know about the incredible effects of chiropractic and how it can really change the lives of those suffering from neck and back pain.

Outside of work I am always visiting family; having my family spread out from Bolton to Bournemouth. On the days when I get to relax, I enjoy reading, baking (which if there’s any left I try to bring in for the staff to eat!), as well as maintaining my health by swimming and using the gym.

The staff at Life Chiropractic are what I like to call my Essex family. We all help and support each other which is what I believe sets us apart. I treat all ages, from babies to pregnant women, to the elderly; I can’t say I have a preference.
