About GreenTree Chiropractic

Welcome to GreenTree Chiropractic. I offer a mixture of therapies including: chiropractic, Graston Technique®, Epley Manouever for vertigo, clinical relaxation and rehabilitative yoga.  

Your treatment will consist of a mixture of gentle chiropractic, muscle release adn exercises to allow you to help yourself further at home.  My goal is not only to help your symptoms, but to actually correct the root cause of your problem.

Conditions successfully treated at the clinic include:

Low back pain, sciatica, lumbago, muscle spasm

Mechanical neck and shoulder pain

Certain types of headache

Hip and knee pain, including those from sporting injuries

Elbow and wrist pain, including repetitive strain type injuries

Pain affecting the pelvis in the sacroiliac joint or groin

Arthritic pain

Postural pain

Vertigo/dizziness - via Epley Manouever

All of the therapies offered are gentle enough to be suitable for children, adults and the elderly.

I chose GreenTree clinic for McTimoney treatment as recommended by another practitioner for hip and lower back issues after an accident. I was so pleased I did, though it's not a "quick fix" the treatment helped enormously even after the first session.

I am now about to have my 3rd session and feel it is really helping, much better than the 2 1/2 years of Physiotherapy I had at the hospital that's for sure.

Chandra was exceptional, she could see I was uncomfortable and made sure that she explained every part of the treatment as she went, while constantly checking I was OK.

I would recommend Chandra and her magical hands to anyone needing her skill set.

GreenTree clinic is a lovely personal space with one to one treatment, easy to find and parking. Chandra makes you feel welcome, at ease straight away and was very thorough making sure she had all the medical information required prior to commencing treatment.

My husband recommended Chandra following treatment he received. Chandra is incredibly thorough when investigating what you believe is the issue, identifying the main area causing pain/discomfort and any areas that are a secondary factor.

When going through an examination, I mentioned feeling a bit discombobulated, immediately Chandra identified a crystal had become loose within my inner ear and treated. Specialised treatment that many are not trained to carry out.

When in extreme pain, I contacted Chandra expecting an appointment for the following week, Chandra immediately came back and offered me a Saturday evening. Her generosity in allowing me to visit at a weekend meant I could relax and enjoy at least part of my weekend.

Chandra has not just treated my back pain but challenged me with exercises to help support my back. Investing time to work with my personal trainer on more complex exercises to ensure they are done correctly. My husband and I continue to do exercises Chandra recommended.

I now see Chandra for maintenance or when I have been particularly daft!

Biography:
Chandra began her academic career by completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, with a concentration in Psychology and a strong interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. At the age of 22, Chandra was in an accident which left her with a prolonged back pain and reduced mobility. Chandra used yoga to overcome her injury, developing a passion for “physical medicine” and qualifying as a Yoga Instructor. She also began experimenting with Relaxation Techniques to improve stress and pain management, eventually focusing on Abbreviated Progressive Muscle Relaxation, a technique originally developed by psychiatrist Dr. Edward Jacobson. She worked with people battling diverse conditions including shoulder and neck pain, back pain, hypermobility and chronic fatigue syndrome. Chandra’s continued thirst for knowledge led her to the McTimoney College of Chiropractic, where she gained an extensive medical education focusing on anatomy, physiology and biomechanics as well as evidence-based techniques to address pathologies within the body. She completed her Integrated Undergraduate Masters Degree in Chiropractic (MChiro), as well as gaining qualifications in Massage and Graston Technique. Chandra is a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association and the Royal College of Chiropractors.
