After suffering from leg, gluteus maximus, and lower back pain for almost a year, Dr. Choi is helping me resolve my issues with chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Choi provides me with specific care treatments to help rectify my issues.

I chose this clinic due to his knowledge of active release therapy due to my muscle related pain. The staff is kind and attentive; the facilities are nice and clean.

I have been experiencing radiculopathic pain for quite some time down both arms and went to visit this clinic, since it was the only ART (Active Release Technique) certified doctor in Seoul (and almost all of Korea). The clinic is quite nice, but unfortunately Dr. Choi doesn't really offer ART. So please be aware. He has the certification, but for some reason doesn't do the treatment. I instead received a massage from a younger female staff, and some spinal manipulations which did not address the issue and only aggravated it.

I would say my experience was not good, at all. But i'm glad to see some people got some pain relief, it's hard to find a good physio / chiro in Korea. Dr. Choi has some testimonials played on the T.V. screen in his waiting room, and liked to talk to me about how he teaches all the Chiro's in Korea.. seems quite proud.

Great postpartum treatment for my lower back was offered and performed by professionals at ideal wellness clinic. I had a severe pain near my right shoulder blade due to scoliosis which had worsened after delivery and needed my pelvis to be adjusted. Two months of treatment which included adjustment therapy, massage and exercises returned me into the prenatal state and even more - reduced my scoliosis and got me free from pain.

Highly recommend to women who gave birth and encountered problems with the back or required pelvis adjustment which is very important. The approach here is very personal based on thorough examination and consultation. Very professional judgement, English speaking doctors , friendly and home alike atmosphere. Strongly recommended!

Massage, spine manipulation, a little bit of physical therapy for chronic neck and back pain. The doctor and staff were very friendly and professional which is important for the treatments and overall experience. The back manipulations were done gently and carefully without causing pain unlike some other places where they would crack it hard and caused great pain. The massage therapist was very caring and the massages were relaxing, but it would've been nicer if she put some more pressure in the tight and knotted muscles.

After every visit, I felt relaxed and energized at the same time. Unfortunately, I had to move back to the States and couldn't finish my treatments. Dr. Choi suspected that I may have another condition and advised to get a blood test which turned out that I have an autoimmune disease. He also was kind enough to send me my medical report so that I can provide it to my new doctor in the States. Ideal Wellness Chiropractic Center has the most positive atmosphere by far which is crucial to getting better!

I have a chronical Facet Syndrome in my mid-back. When my back hurts it is important that I get it manipulated, which can be difficult for a regular physiotherapist to do. However, with a quick manipulation from Dr. Choi the pain disappeared almost in an instant. I go here when my back gets stuck. It is difficult in Korea to find a good Chiropractic, and especially one who can communicate with you in fluent English. I can warmly recommend this clinic!

I chose Wellenss ChiropracticCenter, because a friend recommended it. She came here regularly for her scoliosis when she was living in Seoul. My first impression was good it was very similar to the clinics we have in Denmark. It is modern and clean. The staff is very kind and speaks English too.

Dr Choi has been giving me treatment for 3 years now. He gently adjusts me. He often has techniques that are new to me, but has successfully treated my ailments. He speaks English very well and offers many services like rolfing, physical therapy and stretch.

Wonderful. What a relief it has been to find Dr Choi and his staff. They have been very kind and flexible to make appointments fit. Billing has gone smooth, our insurance has recognized them as providers.

Chiropractic/Rehabilitation

I have been receiving care at this clinic for about a year and a half and have taken chiropractic care in the USA for more than 20 years by six different Chiropractors. Dr. Choi's skill, knowledge, technique, sensitivity and professionalism is as good or better than the care I have received in the USA.
When I arrived in Korea I had been receiving physical therapy in the USA for a frozen shoulder, so I did an extensive search for Chiropractors in Seoul. I chose to visit Dr. Choi first as he attended the same Chiropractic School as my previous Chiropractor, Logan College of Chiropractic. He was very honest in explaining that the treatment of shoulder injuries is a lengthy process. After six months of treatment, the range of motion of my shoulder was back to normal and I am now able to throw, bowl, golf and participate in martial art.

The entire staff at Ideal Wellness has been kind, accommodating and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Choi and his staff at Ideal Wellness for all of your chiropractic, massage, and physiotherapy/rehabilitation needs.

I am very pleased with the gentle & evident healing progress of my thoracic & spinal problems at Dr. Choi Ideal Wellness Chiropractic Center treatments as well as myofascial theraphy with Amanda for the past 6 months. He is very thorough & professional caring attitudes reflects to his staff as well in a bright & spacious environment. He gives good advice & instructions to properly maintain bodily postures in daily life for holistic health. The price is very reasonable for their health services as well. One of the best chiropractor you'll find in Korea who has degree from USA.
Just one visit makes a life time difference. I totally recommend him thru my experience. He takes out the pain of my chronic back pain and neck pain. He even checks your nerve system which is interesting too.
This way you know your spines and joints are correctly fit in right places.
Tried many other places but none is better than this.
He's my life time doctor for sure.

Spinal Manipulation, therapeutic massage

Dr. Choi and his staff were really wonderful and patient with my condition. I was in terrible pain and had (have) several issues. Each issue was diagnosed and treatment was holistic in practice.

The massage therapy was great combined with spine manipulation and stretching and rehabilitation.

I think Dr. Choi and his team are very caring and knowledgeable and go to great lengths to help relieve your pain and put you on a right path for recovery and wellness.

I would easily recommend this clinic (and often do) to other people.

I've been to a few physiotherapists in South Korea and this if the first clinic that has met and exceeded my expectations. I've lived in Korea for a while and have tried to treat consistent shoulder and back issues from time to time at other clinics to no avail. I figured I would have to wait until I moved back to Canada to get proper treatment.
Luckily I found the Ideal Wellness clinic through the website. I've been receiving active release, chiropractic, strengthening and Graston treatments for my shoulder issues. My range of motion has continued to increase and my pain and discomfort has continued to decrease. My posture has also been improving, which has been another issue I've had for a long time due to sitting in front of a computer for too long every day.

The staff is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. If you're an English speaking foreigner living in South Korea, language is not an issue. The medical staff have mid to high level English abilities.

The other thing I really like is the time and care that is taken with each treatment. All chiropractic and physiotherapy clinics in South Korea are more expensive than what is the norm in Western countries, but that is made up for at Dr. Choi's clinic with the thoroughness and care that is taken with each treatment.

One thing I've always found annoying with certain chiropractic centers is when they only use one or two different methods to treat injuries. This clinic has medical professionals that are trained in many different methods of therapy, some of which I listed above. They have applied several different methods to help alleviate the shoulder and back troubles I've been having.

Overall I'm really satisfied with the treatment that I've been receiving and I highly recommend the Ideal Wellness Chiropractic Center.
