Dr AK. Gangat qualified in 2004 from the Durban Institute of Technology and received the Excellence Award from the Chiropractic Association of South Africa for his graduating class (CASA award). He continues to extend his expertise in latest treatment options in chiropractic care and physical therapy in general, by participating in additional courses on an ongoing basis. He has completed modules in Paediatrics, Craniosacral Therapy, Nutrition, Sports Injuries, Management of Disc Herniations, and Ethics in Practice. He also has a special interest in Functional Medicine. His areas of expertise include Stress and Fatigue, Headaches, Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, Sports Injuries Treatment and Rehabilitation, Post-Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation, Ergonomics and Postural Weakness, and Paediatrics (Infantile colic).
