Biography:

Dr Robbie Hunt is the founder of Wellbeing Chiropractic. He practices as the principal chiropractor 6 days a week from Pakenham and Hawthorn locations. After being awarded clinical excellence from RMIT University he began his career working in various multidisciplinary practices around Melbourne as a locum Chiropractor. Robbie went on to gain valuable clinical experience volunteering internationally before opening Wellbeing Chiropractic.

Biography:

After 8-years of full-time study at Melbourne’s highly regarded RMIT University, Dr. James graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement), Bachelor of Health Science (Chiropractic) and Masters of Clinical Chiropractic. Dr. James completed his Chiropractic course achieving Distinction results and receiving an excellence award for his achievements.

Prior to joining the team at Wellbeing Chiropractic, Dr James worked with two AFL Clubs in their respective Strength, Conditioning and Rehabilitation departments helping professional athletes reach optimal health and fitness. Not only is Dr James interested in helping amateur and professional sporting athletes, but he is trusted to care for everyone of all age groups including newborn babies in the Hawthorn and Pakenham communities. Dr James’ real passion is helping all adults, children and babies reach optimal health through Chiropractic care, healthy eating and exercise.

Through Dr. James’ many years of training, he delivers a range of specified, gentle and effective Chiropractic techniques including manual adjusting, joint mobilizing, sacro-occipital pelvic blocking, Activator methods and soft tissue Arthrostim machine techniques as well as the highly sought after Atlas Orthogonal technique. Dr James is one of only fifteen Chiropractors in Australia to be trained in Atlas Orthogonal.

When not in practice helping people get well or maintaining proper spinal health and overall function, Dr James’ other passion is watching his beloved Carlton Football Club, playing golf and being physically active.

Dr. James is a member of the CAA (Chiropractor’s Association of Australia).

Dr Peter Vrakatselis

Biography:

Dr Peter graduated from the prestigious RMIT University Chiropractic program with a Masters Degree in Clinical Chiropractic with Distinction results.  As a Chiropractor, Dr Peter is qualified in spinal diagnosis and management.

Prior to graduating as Doctor of Chiropractic, Peter worked as a Myotherapist, a university level musculoskeletal therapist. He worked with professional sporting teams in AFL and NBL with injury management and rehabilitation. His most recent role was this year, as Head Sports Trainer at an amateur AFL club. This has given Dr Peter a wealth of experience in the management of different types of injuries and conditions both spinal and extra spinal
(upper &lower limbs).
As a Myotherapist, he worked alongside many allied health professionals throughout Victoria. It was this experience where he was exposed to the amazing benefits of Chiropractic and led him to pursue a career as a Chiropractor.

Dr Peter is interested in helping anyone with their health goals, focusing on nervous system and spinal health and overall function. From children to the elderly or from athletes to retirees, Dr Peter is passionate about health and wellness and for everyone to reach their full health potential and get the most out of life. Dr Peter’s special interest is in helping to facilitate the health goal journey of his clients, not only by traditional Chiropractic methods but also by self-empowerment and education.

Dr Peter has years of training using an array of specific, safe and effective Chiropractic techniques. When Dr Peter is not in practice, focusing on nervous system, spinal health and overall function of his clients, Dr Peter is at the gym, staying physically active, in the study keeping up to date with the latest research or out with family and friends, enjoying life’s most simple pleasures.

Dr Peter is registered with the CAA and is fluent in both English and Hellenic (Greek).

Dr Peter is available for consultation Monday to Saturday at both Hawthorn and Pakenham practices.
