Aesthetics by Stephanie

Stephanie qualified as a dentist from the University of Glasgow in 2002, then went on to work in both NHS and Private practice, with a keen interest in the artistic side of dentistry. She underwent initial training in injectable facial aesthetic treatments in 2007 as she saw it as natural progression from only redesigning the smile to creating a bespoke treatment plan that encompasses the entire face and neck. She has been attending advanced courses since then to keep her skills up to date. 

As the years went on, it was clear that her passions lay in facial aesthetics and as her reputation grew, the decision was made in 2021 to step away from clinical dentistry altogether to focus solely on Aesthetics By Stephanie.

I have known Carrie personally and professionally for almost 15 years, starting when we worked together as the best Dentist/Dental Nurse team in Livingston. She then moved on to work for NHS Lothian’s childsmile programme, delivering oral health education to nursery and primary school children, before fulfilling her dream of being accepted at UWS to study adult nursing.  

I’ve honestly never met a more hard working, caring and genuinely nice person, so when we made the decision to expand and offer more non injectable treatments I knew Carrie would be the perfect fit. 

She has a true passion for skincare and her enthusiasm for the subject is infectious, don’t be surprised if you spend most of your appointments chatting! When she isn’t on placement, studying or working here, Carrie can be found shaking her funky stuff on TikTok or having fun with her adorable son Lochlan.
