Dr Natasha Fernando has been a doctor for over 10 years after completing her undergraduate medical training at Cambridge University and Imperial College London. She then moved up to Leicester to work as junior doctor and became a fully qualified GP over 5 years ago. She has since then been enjoying her work as a part-time NHS GP but has also branched out into the field of aesthetic medicine after being trained under Harley Academy and Derma Institute. She is now doing the Level 7 Diploma (Masters equivalent) in Injectables for Clinical Aesthetic Treatments and is currently a member of The Aesthetic Complications Expert (ACE) Group. This is a network focussed on ensuring your safety as a patient based on evidence-based guidance. Dr Fernando is also the Head of Clinical Excellence for a leading online home testing company, Medichecks. In this role she has been passionate about empowering people to be proactive in knowing more about their health so that they can take positive actions to live, longer healthier happier lives. She has more recently completed the International Diploma of Lifestyle Medicine which is a speciality looking at managing nutrition, exercise, sleep habits and mental wellbeing to ensure wellness and longevity. ​ Dr Fernando has learnt through her experience the importance of a holistic approach that is specifically tailored to her patients’ expectations and needs. Your initial complementary consultation which will be conducted remotely from the safety of your home in view of COVID-19 precautions. During this consultation Dr Fernando will do a preliminary analysis of your facial features through a video call or via a telephone call with emailed photos if you prefer. She will also fully explore your concerns & expectations before devising a personalised aesthetic treatment plan.
