Languages: English Biography: Dr Grant McKeating is our Medical Director here at RejuvaMed Skin Clinic. He qualified in medicine (MB ChB) from The University of Edinburgh in 1989, and gained his doctorate (MD) from the same university in 1995. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) and a Fellow of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FFICM). He has worked as a consultant at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2000, but has now left the NHS to focus primarily on medical aesthetics.
Mrs Gemma Robinson Biography: Gemma joined the RejuvaMed team in 2017 as Clinic Receptionist/Administrator & Aesthetician.
Her career began working on luxury cruise ships offering beauty treatments to passengers and progressed to working in beauty and spa therapy on her return to solid ground!

Mr Robert Salaman is one of our consultant vascular surgeons. He grew up and went to Medical School in Cardiff, qualifying in 1988. He stayed in Wales for his basic surgical training and two years of research before moving to the Midlands for his specialist surgical attachments. He was appointed as a consultant surgeon in Blackburn in 2000. In his NHS job he perform all types of arterial and vein surgery and has recently become the Clinical Director of Vascular Surgery leading a department of 6 consultants at The Royal Blackburn Hospital. Since becoming a consultant he has become more specialised in minimally invasive ways of treating arteries and veins, often under local anaesthetic, allowing a quicker recovery and with less risk than traditional surgical techniques.
In the years he has lived and worked in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire has definitely become his home. He enjoys walking on the local hills around Pendle and the Ribble with his wife, who is also a surgeon. He also cycles and mountain bikes locally and in the Yorkshire dales.
Mrs Rachael Buckle Biography: Rachael joined the RejuvaMed team in early summer 2020 as Aesthetician and she also chaperones and assists for occuloplastic surgical cases and vascular treatments within the clinic.
Rachael's skincare and beauty journey began back in Scotland where she grew up. She attended Perth College UHI and graduated in 2015 with a higher national degree, and worked in spas, salons and skincare environments as skincare has always been her passion!

Mr Vittorio Perricone
Job Title: Surgeon Biography: Born in Palermo, Italy, Mr Perricone studied medicine at University Policlinico and graduated with maximum grades in 1992. In 1994 he relocated to the UK and trained in vascular surgery, working in prestigious units in Southampton and Manchester. He also spent a year working in South Africa at the Vascular Unit of Pretoria, where he was appointed lecturer and developed an interest in vascular trauma.
In 2008 Mr Perricone was appointed Consultant at Blackpool Flyde and Wyre NHS Trust and later in 2016 he moved to East Lancashire NHS Trust, where he still provides NHS services.
Mr Perricone has a particular interest in medical education and has lectured in vascular surgery at Salford University and is currently a lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire.
Mr Perricone provides private vascular services at RejuvaMed which include radio-frequency ablation, VenaSeal, phlebectomies (avulsions), sclerotherapy and microsclerotherapy.
Mrs Helen Little
Job Title: Nurse Biography: Nurse Helen qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1995 before becoming a theatre practitioner within Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. For over 25 years she has gained a wealth of experience and expertise in clinical surgical procedures covering a wide range of specialities from Orthopaedics, ENT, Plastics, General Surgery, Urology, Maxillo Facial and Neurosurgery, and she currently works at Circle Health, BMI Lancaster Hospital alongside her work here at RejuvaMed.
In 2010 Nurse Helen began her advanced training in facial aesthetics and she now works alongside Dr Grant offering medical cosmetic treatments at both our Chorley and Clitheroe clinics as well as assisting Mr Patel for occuloplastic treatments at our CQC registered clinic in Clitheroe.
Dr Helen McKeating
Job Title: General Practitioner Biography: Dr Helen studied medicine at Edinburgh University and qualified in 1989. In 1991 she gained her diploma from Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (DRCOG) before becoming a member of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP) in 1993.
After becoming a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 1994, Dr Helen became a GP Partner at a practice in Edinburgh until early 2000, when she relocated to Lancashire. Since then, she has been a GP Partner at a practice in Blackburn with a specialist interest in women’s health.
Dr Helen provides private women’s health services at our Clitheroe clinic which include bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) for premenstrual, perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms, and laser vaginal rejuvenation which can greatly aid symptoms of urinary stress incontinence, vaginal laxity, dryness and atrophy.
Mr Vikesh Patel
Job Title: Surgeon Biography: Mr Patel graduated from the University of Dundee in 1998 and completed his basic ophthalmic surgical training in Taunton and Nottingham before his higher surgical training in Nottingham and Cardiff.
He became a fellow in oculoplastic, orbital and lacrimal surgery at the internationally renowned Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead in 2008, before being appointed as an NHS consultant in Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Preston in 2010.
Mr Patel has specialist knowledge and skills in eyelid and lacrimal surgery and offers upper eyelid blepharoplasty (droopy eyelids) and innovative techniques in ptosis surgery (droopy eyelids) at our Clitheroe clinic.
He is committed to teaching and training for both trainees and medical students and is currently the Royal College Tutor, educational supervisor and undergraduate academic advisor.
Mr Patel is a member of the British Oculoplastic Surgical Society (BOPSS) and European Society of Opthalmic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS). He has published in peer-reviewed journals on numerous topics and presented scientific papers internationally.
