Job Title: Nurse Biography: BSc RGN RM FRSPH INP As an experienced nurse I have been involved in medical aesthetics for over eleven years and run my clinic , Cosmecare, on the south coast in Hampshire. I specialise in a wide range of anti-ageing treatments including dermal fillers, the use of treatment for wrinkles, chemical peels and the removal of thread veins from the face and legs. I can offer a referral service to a dermatologist, cosmetic surgeons and a vascular surgeon. I have served on a committee with the Royal College of Nursing to improve standards in aesthetic nursing and have contributed to policy development within the RCN and nationally. I represent the membership of the RCN on the Shared Regulation Scheme for Providers of Cosmetic Injectables and have been awarded the Quality Assurance Mark. I am also part of the British Academy of Cosmetic Practice. Academically I have contributed to the development of the first Graduate Diploma Course for Aesthetic Nurses by assisting in writing the course material and am an Assessor for it at the University of Greenwich. Completing the Nurse Prescribing course means I am able to prescribe the medications used in this specialty. I am an accredited Civil Expert Witness. Finally, I am a founder member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses established in 2009.
