As a Nurse Independent Prescriber (MA level with Distinction awarded from Edinburgh Napier University), Miranda is fully autonomous with a wealth of experience. Having received her Post Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the University of Greenwich Miranda is one of just a handful of Medical Practitioners to have achieved the first academically recognised University qualification in the UK.
Miranda was one of the first full-time aesthetic practitioners in Scotland.
Dr Matt Bulkeley – Private GPQualifications: BSc Hons, MBChB, MRCGP
Dr Matt Bulkeley, a Private GP at the Canmore Clinic, offers a range of services, including health assessments, blood tests, urinalysis, steroid and joint injections, cryotherapy for skin lesions, and skin tag removal.
A graduate of the University of St Andrews and the University of Wales, Matt trained in Edinburgh and Fife, gaining experience across various specialties such as dermatology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, surgery, emergency medicine, and obstetrics & gynaecology. Dedicated to providing high-quality care, he prioritises patient relationships and thorough consultations.
With a strong interest in sports medicine and minor surgical procedures, Matt is fully qualified in acupuncture through the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). He also specialises in men’s and women’s health, particularly Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).
Beyond his clinical work, Matt is an educator within the NHS, teaching medical students, GP registrars, and advanced nurse practitioners. He chairs LocumScotland and is part of the RCGP South East Scotland Committee. Having worked as a GP partner, he now enjoys the flexibility of locum work, balancing his professional commitments with family life.
