Medica

Claire graduated from Ulster University with a BSc Honours in Podiatry and has been a longstanding member of our clinic, joining us in 2010. In previous and current premises, Claire has shared a great rapport with all patients and is widely known in the local area. Since graduating she has continuously attended programmes that enhance her skills; most recently undergoing training in shockwave therapy and Podiatric cosmetic foot procedures including toenail reconstruction and medical pedicures. Claire also runs our highly popular evening treatment sessions.

Podiatrist Megan King graduated from Ulster University with a BSc Honours in Podiatry and is HCPC registered. Megan continues to strive to provide optimal patient care through her ongoing studies; recently obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery amongst many other training achievements. Megan enjoys all aspects of her role as Podiatrist, areas of interest including foot and ankle surgery, minor skin and nail surgery, biomechanics/ musculoskeletal and alternative therapies.

David graduated from Ulster University with a BSc Honours in Podiatry. Being heavily involved in sports including rugby, crossfit, snowboarding and running David has a special interest in musculoskeletal assessment and gait analysis. David also enjoys working in variety of setting and is particularly enjoys work in the community setting providing housecalls, nursing home Podiatry provision and working with community groups. David returns to us having recently spent 6 months living in France volunteering with refugees carrying out Podiatric and medical aid work and undertakes Podiatric care for us both at Medica and in our sister clinic The Gait Lodge in Ballymena

Pamela graduated from Ulster University with a BSc Honours in Podiatry. Pam is HCPC registered and aims to provide the best for all her patients across the full scope of her training, but currently focussing on musculoskeletal care/ biomechanics. Pamela works for us both at Medica and in our sister clinic The Gait Lodge in Ballymena

Nicola is a Chartered Physiotherapist and registered with both the HCPC and CSP. Nicola graduated from Ulster University with a Bsc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Following the start of her career in the NHS, Nicola has worked for the last 3 and a half years in private practice in Belfast gaining extensive experience in musculoskeletal and headache management. Nicola is highly skilled and has undertaken extensive post graduate training at master’s level specialising in the management and treatment of spinal dysfunction, nerve pain, headaches, migraines and vertigo. Nicola focusses particularly on those suffering from long standing headaches and migraines, which is one of her main passions. Nicola has a love for travel as well as keeping active by attending the gym, walking and swimming as well as partaking in charity events. Her fundraising has seen her travel to both Romania and Uganda.

Emma is a Registered Nurse Independent Prescriber, Advanced Aesthetics Practitioner and Skincare Specialist with over seven years’ experience. Emma Offers a range of aesthetic and skincare treatments to meet patient’s needs, helping patients to look and feel the very best version of themselves. Emma prides herself on high quality care and customer satisfaction, offering a comprehensive consultation and individualised treatment plan for every patient- educating and informing at every step of the journey.
