Astute Medical Aesthetics and Laser Clinic

Dr Jason graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University Singapore. Upon graduation, he pursued further studies and obtained post-graduate qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology (Cardiff). He also obtained the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM) Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine and accreditation by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee to perform numerous facial aesthetic and body contouring procedures.

His previous clinical experience and rotations in the departments of Dermatology, National Skin Centre, and Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery, SGH have given him broad exposure and strong fundamentals in aesthetic medicine. As a student, Dr Jason also did elective postings in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery both in Singapore and in St Thomas Hospital, London.

Dr Desmond graduated with Honours from Monash University, Melbourne, with a degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He subsequently served in the public hospitals and underwent training in various medical and surgical departments. It was there that he honed his procedural skills, improved his dexterity, and learnt how to optimise pain control to provide a comfortable patient experience. He brought these skills along as he ventured into the field of aesthetics.

Dr Desmond is fully accredited by the Singapore Medical Council Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee to perform a wide range of aesthetic procedures including anti-wrinkle injections, fillers, non-surgical facelift, chemical peels, lasers, body contouring etc.  Prior to joining Astute, he was practicing in an established medical aesthetics group where he also oversaw the training and development of new doctors.

Dr Walter graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He did a number of postings in local healthcare institutions, where he learned skills that would be invaluable to the field of aesthetics.

Dr Walter is fully accredited by the Singapore Medical Council Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee to perform aesthetic procedures. He had also completed a course with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM).

Dr Walter is a strong proponent of evidence based treatments that are safe and effective. As an advocate of lifelong learning, he continues to attend conferences and workshops in his free time to keep up with the latest developments, and to learn from the best in the region and the world.
