I went to North Coast Medi Spa in Ballina to have my congested skin cleared up. I was breaking out with acne all the time and just had really oily skin. I was given a treatment plan over about 3 months which involved microdermabrasion, chemical peels and some light device to clear up the "active" acne. All treatments were really professional and I felt comfortable the entire time. I was also given some Obagi skin care products to look after my skin at home. After just a week I had already noticed how much healthier my skin looked and within about a month my acne had all but completely cleared up. Soon I'll be going back for treatments to tackle the scarring I have left over. Overall I'm super happy with the results and just can't thank the staff enough for their support and help.
The medi spa was more like a doctors office than a beauty salon, which is a good thing but a bit surprising. To have a treatment I needed to a consultation with one of their nurses (Kerrie?) who went through my medical and skin care history, then looked at my skin closely under some devices before letting me know what the best treatments would be for me. I was given a long term plan with all the treatments and costs involved. Everything was very professional and upfront. The consultation rooms are very clean and the staff were all lovely. Prices were higher than a beauty salon but the service and knowledge of the staff really justifies it.
