I am a Family Nurse Practitioner who oversees the Mobile Unit. The mobile unit travels around to several cities in North Texas to see patients for Lap-band adjustments and routine weight loss surgery follow-ups. My team consists of an X-Ray Technologist and a Patient Care Technician. My nursing career began as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 1983. I graduated from Texas Christian University and became a Registered Nurse in 1990. I received my Master’s in Nursing from Texas Women’s University in Denton, TX. I have experience working in Surgery, Emergency Departments, Urgent Care Centers, and Administration. I bring a great deal of nursing experience. I feel Patients can relate to me because I too have had weight loss surgery. I truly understand what it is like first hand.
