Is a native of Tennessee, but has practiced in Texas now for over 12 years. Graduating from the University of Virginia, he pursued his medical degree at Tulane University in New Orleans and went on to complete his surgical residency at the University of Texas San Antonio.

Has a passion for minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery since entering private practice and has continued to maintain state of the art surgical practices through on going post graduate study.

At the center of Dr. Dyslin’s practice is the need to help his patients return quickly to fuller and healthier lives, particularly through bariatric surgery.

When not providing patient care, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, and his teenage son and daughter. He also enjoys the outdoors, fishing on the Texas coast, shooting sports and medical missions to Central America through his church.

Is a native of Austin, Texas and graduated from Williams College, Williamstown, Massachusetts. He graduated from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio. Dr. Lyons is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Has been in practice in Arlington since 2004 where he specializes in Bariatric and General Surgery.

Fran Walker (Dr. Lyons’ nurse): As Dr. Lyons' nurse, the experience of working with our patients is so rewarding. With general surgery we didn’t get to see dramatic changes to our patient’s lives. With bariatric surgery, I look forward to not only seeing the physical changes but also hearing them share all the new activities they are now able to experience like riding roller coasters, or being able to go to movie theaters again.

Melissa Lawson (Dr. Dyslin’s nurse): Dr. Dyslin and I have worked together for over 11 years now. When we expanded the practice several years ago to include bariatric surgery, the changes were challenging. However, it became apparent very quickly how rewarding it was assisting and guiding my patients through this life altering process.
