Ariel Rivera Aguerri MD, FACS

A Board Certified General Surgeon by the Costa Rican College of Surgeons and Physicians. He graduated with honors Cum Laude at the medical school from the Autonomous University of Central America. He did his specialty in General Surgery at the University of Costa Rica after achieve the highest score in the national exam to obtain a place as a resident. He completed a University Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery at University Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France. He did a Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery Mini-fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Rivera-Aguerri has a worldwide training & experience, including USA, Europe and Latin American.
