Graduated in medicine in 1992 from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). He specialized in general surgery, having made Residency accredited by MEC in the Santa Casa de Belo Horizonte, one of the medical training centers oldest and most respected in Brazil. It is the pioneer in Videolaparoscopic Surgery Hospital in Minas Gerais. It operates in the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Digestive Surgery, Surgery Abdominal Wall Surgery and Videolaparoscopic. He was Professor of Surgery at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Minas Gerais (FCMMG). Currently, dedicated to surgery in Belo Horizonte operating in Biocor Hospitals, Mater Dei, Life Center, St. Luke, Santa Casa da Serra Village and Hospital Unimed.
