I qualified as an acupuncturist in 2006 and have since then practiced acupuncture in Droitwich and Worcester. I have completed 3 years of full training at the College of Traditional Acupuncture near Warwick.
I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and hold a full public liability insurance. As a member of the British Acupuncture Council I practice in accordance with their strict code of practice and ethics. Through my membership with the British Acupuncture Council, I am required to continually update my practice through professional development (CPD)
In the past I have attended CPD courses with Debra Betts, Zita West, Nora Franglen, Judy Wordsley and others.
I have previously worked as a nurse for over 10 years and I am fully committed to helping patients improving their health and wellbeing.
I am Norwegian, but have lived and worked in England since 1998. I obtained my qualifications as a general nurse in Norway, but have practiced nursing in England for over 10 years.
In September 2013 I finished Tending Shen Five Element Acupuncture Graduate Programme in London run by Niki Bilton. She is the Dean of The Ongiara College of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Ontario. Niki Bilton is one of the most experienced international tutors of Five Element Acupuncture.
This was a 2 year Graduate Programme intended for practitioners who wished to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the theory and practical application of Five Element Acupuncture. This Programme was significantly relevant in deepening my understanding in forming a diagnosis from a Chinese medicine point of view, which again strengthens the clinical application and increases the success of treating the patient.
