About Corinium Acupuncture

Sarah uses traditional acupuncture to help people achieve better physical health and mental-emotional wellbeing. She is a former Chair of the Governing Board of the British Acupuncture Council, and has published ground-breaking research  into acupuncture treatment for self-injury users in the European Journal of Oriental Medicine. Her reputation for excellence resulted in her being featured in the January 2015 edition of Cotswold Life magazine. In addition to her clinical practice, Sarah is a faculty member at the prestigious College of Integrated Chinese Medicine.

Biography:

Sarah Attwell-Griffiths (Lic Ac, BSc (Hons) Acu, MBAcC) uses traditional acupuncture to help people achieve better physical health and mental-emotional wellbeing. In addition to her clinical practice, Sarah has published ground-breaking research into acupuncture treatment for self-injury users.

Sarah studied at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading and holds a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in traditional acupuncture awarded by Kingston University. She is also a full member of the British Acupuncture Council. This means that she adheres to strict safety standards and professional conduct guidelines, and is recognised by health insurance providers.

As a member of the British Acupuncture Council, Sarah is on a voluntary register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. The Accredited Voluntary Register (AVR) scheme was set up by the Government to improve standards and safety for the benefit of the public. Accreditation demonstrates Sarah's commitment to high professional standards, to enhancing safety and delivering a better service.
