Mr Sam Gray
Biography:
With a passion for physical and mental well-being I was first introduced to the benefits of Chinese Medicine through practice in Martial Arts. When I first started exploring Acupuncture I was sceptical of what effects this differing approach to treatment could bring. Through a constant desire to learn and question, I discovered the value that a holistic approach to treatment can deliver, with the ability to affect both mind, body and spirit. I studied at the highly regarded College of Integrated Chinese Medicine for over 3 years where I obtained a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture. The College teaches a unique integration of both Five Element & Traditional Chinese Medicine approaches to treatment with some of the profession’s leading experts on the subject. As part of this rigorous training, Conventional Medical Sciences are studied, ensuring all those who come for treatment are in safe hands, with a practitioner who knows when a patient would benefit from referral to a Western Medical practitioner. As well as understanding how Acupuncture may compliment other treatments possibly being received. I am a member of The British Acupuncture Council, the largest acupuncture organisation in the UK. This involves conforming to a strict code of professional practice and hygiene standards along with a commitment to conducting continual professional development.
