Qualifications are MA Medical Sciences from Cambridge in 1986; MBBS from Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1990 and a MRCPG. Catherine also has Diplomas in Community Child Health; Family Planning; Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Catherine did her GP training in the North East, and has been a partner at Vauxhall since returning to the North West in 1996. Her clinical interests include minor surgery and diabetic care and she is responsible for GP training and student teaching.

David qualified in 1990 in Liverpool. His qualifications are MB ChB; MRCGP; DRCOG; MSc and DTM&H. In addition David holds a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis.

Within the practice David’s clinical lead areas are CHD; Atrial Fibrillation; Heart Failure and Stroke. Other interest areas include clinical hypnosis for anxiety / phobias. David is also a tutor at Liverpool University of 2nd and 3rd year medical students.

Qualifications are MBChB and DCH.

Ed was raised in Liverpool and studied medicine in Leeds. He is particularly interested in paediatric medicine and respiratory disease.

Helen qualified in Liverpool in 1986. Her qualifications are MB ChB; DRCOG and MRCGP.

Her clinical interests within the practice are Dementia; Mental Health and Depression. In addition, Helen is a member of the LMC, participating in sub-committees on child protection and cervical cytology. She is also a member of the Shared Care drug misuse services monitoring group for the PCT.

Judith’s qualifications are state exam MED; MRCGP; DRCOG and FP.

Judith has specific clinical interest in CHD; Atrial Fibrillation; Heart failure and Stroke, as well as medical acupuncture.

Kit qualified in Belfast in 1982. Her qualifications are MB BCh and FRCGP.

Phil’s qualifications are MBChB; DFFP and MRCGP.

Within the practice Phil is the clinical lead for Hypertension and Chronic Kidney Disease. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine and performs joint injections.
