Job Title: Practice Therapist
Sue a fully qualified, traditional acupuncturist working from a quiet and relaxing clinic in Ragdale, near Leicester. She also works in the Rugby Community Acupuncture Clinic each Friday.
Sue first became interested in acupuncture whilst receiving treatment for her own health. After experiencing first-hand the benefits of acupuncture on the mind, body and emotions, she decided to train as an acupuncturist at The Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa. The course included a year in supervised clinical practice, and Sue graduated with a Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture. The three-year course is fully accredited with the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAcC). Sue is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC), the professional body that represents practitioners who have completed an accredited course in acupuncture. The BAcC maintains standards of education, ethics, practice and discipline to ensure the health and safety of the public.
The Rugby Community Acupuncture Clinic is a multi-bed practice, and Sue is a member of the Association of Community and Multibed Acupunture Clinics.
The clinics are licensed by Melton Mowbray and Rugby District Councils and Sue holds full medical and public/products liability insurance cover.
