I am registered with the British Acupuncture Council and theShiatsu Society (UK).  I have been in practice since 1994 when I qualified as a shiatsu practitioner from the European School of Shiatsu in London.   I underwent further training with leading teachers: Michael Rose, Clifford Andrews and Akinobi Kishi and introduced this form of massage to community mental healthsettings and an HIV/AIDS centre whilst maintaining a busy private practice.

In 2001 I qualified as a traditional acupuncturist from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and I have since completed further specialist training courses including the management of the symptoms of cancer treatment, the treatment ofenduring mental health conditions, insomnia and facial acupuncture.

Since returning to Wales in 2002, I have developed a busy practice in Newport, seeing clients with a variety of conditions from irritable bowel syndrome to chemo-induced peripheral neuropathy.   I mainly specialise in stress-related conditions, anxiety, migraine headaches and sleep problems. Keen to promote and improve access to these therapies, I continue to collaborate with mental health and social care charities and make links with local health care providers. My work encourages self-help with advice on lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise and stress management.
