About One Acupuncture

Clinic in Barnstaple, serving North Devon. Offering private Acupuncture appointments (in clinic) and remote Herbal Medicine consults and herbs.

Special interests include (but not limited to) Pain, Fertility, Pregnancy, Women's Health, Cancer Support as well as a national Vision Loss Clinic (genetic, auto-immune and acute/inflammatory focus). 

Acupuncture and associated treatments are provided by fully qualified staff, who aim to understand and treat you as one whole person, addressing the underlying causes, not just the symptoms in order to help you live life well. This is achieved through an integrated blend of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element Acupuncture, as well as other Chinese Medicine approaches (e.g. Tui Na massage, cupping, K-taping, gua sha, moxa etc) as required.

Flexible clinic opening times - please call if you require a different appointment to those advertised.

The acupuncturist seems to sort my body out

AMAZING Treatment by Alison. I now have to work out if I can take a 5 hour round trip to see her......!!! I always make a point of having an appointment when I'm in North Devon. She seems to sort my body out.

The service at One Acupuncture is top-notch. Alison is very highly trained and experienced so can use the latest developments with Traditional Acupuncture to help complex health conditions.

Alison is warm, efficient and intuitive and is helping me regain my energy and zest for life after a long, draining couple of years working through the Covid pandemic in mental health services. Laura, the clinic's front of the house, is equally warm, welcoming and responsive.

You will not be disappointed. The clinic is beautiful, clean and light. It is a place to recharge and regain your health.

Chinese Massage (Tui Na) (45 mins)

Also known as Tui Na, this Chinese Medical Massage uses the same diagnosis as Traditional Chinese Medicine, but uses hands as tools to massage channels and points, not needles.

A powerful technique, most often used for physical conditions, but can also exert its effects on emotional issues as well.

Can be integrated into an acupuncture treatment as required.
