Mairin Keane Enniscorthy Acupuncture Clinic

The Enniscorthy Acupuncture Clinic is located in Monfin, just one mile from Enniscorthy Town.

It is run by Mairin Keane who holds qualifications from the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland, The Traditional Chinese Medicine Council of Ireland and Nanjing University in China. 

Acupuncture has been practised in China for thousands of years and in essence treats the overall well being of the patient. A good practitioner can assess the cause or source of the imbalance or pain in your body and help restore it to its natural patterns, thereby facilitating recovery. 

Acupuncture requires the insertion of hair-fine sterilized needles into specific points on the body to stimulate one’s Qi or natural energy. 

Mairin may also choose to apply heat to the acupuncture points or stimulate them by techniques called moxibustion and electro-stimulation, which are variations of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
