Was a bit apprehensive about the acupuncture treatment as I had never had acupuncture before. From the outset, Suzanne Cafferky was a pleasure to speak to on the phone. I had a treatment within a few days of enquiry and the treatment was amazing. Suzanne has a lovely calm manner about her, is very professional and caring and made me feel at ease from the beginning. After my consultation I had a treatment and felt at ease straight away. It definitely helped my ailment & I have a few more sessions booked with Suzanne.

I choose this clinic because I really felt Suzanne was very qualified for what I was looking for. She contacted me by email and phone very promptly. The clinic has parking and is well located in drogheda. I felt at ease with Suzanne within minutes of speaking to her & she is highly qualified.

Being 36 weeks pregnant I was recommended acupressure to facilitate labour and as a pain release so I went to see Suzanne with my partner. Her advises were the most helpful ! I feel much more confident that I will be able to cope with a natural birth now that she has told us some very simple methods. I would recommend her to any pregnant women looking for alternative methods to get prepared and to go through labour.

Very pleased so far with the two treatments I have received. I am booked for a further treatment this week. Price was as agreed with Practitioner over the phone. I was also given receipts so I am able to claim part of the cost back from my health insurance.

I am so pleased that I went to Suzanne for treatment. I had been having really bad hot flushes and night sweats. I was exhausted from not sleeping. I also had extreme muscle aches. I started having acupuncture with Suzanne four months ago. I went once a week for the first four weeks, then every few weeks as needed. Suzanne also gave me a Chinese prescription of herbs tailored for my particular symptoms. They are my lifeline. Percentage wise I would say my flushes, night sweats and sleep have improved 80% and the muscle aches have gone. I would also like to say that Suzanne is one of life's lovely people. I feel comfortable in her capable hands.

For over 20 years I had been constantly sick with chest infections, bronchitis, even pneumonia at one stage. I would cough relentlessly without a break for 6-7 weeks at a time. Have to go on antibiotics and steroids and fill myself with so much poison. It would then clear up...for about 2 weeks. Then the cycle would begin again. I also have asthma which didn't help either. About 8 years ago I was finally diagnosed with a degenerative lung disease called bronchiectasis, which is effectively an overproduction of phlegm in the lungs which because of it's moist & warm environment, makes it a breeding ground for bacteria. Hence, all the coughing.
Even with all the medication I was taking, I would still regularly get the infections, until I met Suzanne.
She treated me, not only for the obvious reasons of reducing/controlling the phlegm but also the underlying reasons...the triggers that bring on the infections. I had realised for a while that stress and anxiety seemed to trigger my illnesses and so that's where she concentrated.
We started out with weekly treatments, which then went to every 2 weeks and now pretty much monthly.
I have been off all medication for nearly a year now and find that I simply don't need it anymore. If I feel anxious, I will book an extra session with Suzanne and the impending sickness doesn't materialise any more. You have no idea how this has changed my life. I am eternally grateful to Suzanne, not just for the excellence of her treatment but also for the way that she makes you feel so comfortable in her presence. I recently began acupuncture treatment with Suzanne for SPD, a pregnancy related issue. I was in a lot of pain and could barely walk. I really couldn't see how I was going to manage my last trimester feeling that way. I felt an improvement after one session, I couldn't believe it. Then after a few more treatments, in a matter of weeks the improvement was so significant I was like a different woman. Suzanne is extremely professional and also super friendly. She completely puts you at ease and it's a bonus that the treatment is so relaxing! I would highly recommend Suzanne.

Suzanne has been treating me with acupuncture for night sweats, lack of sleep and migraines for the last 3 months. And for 4 weeks I've been taking Chinese herbs now too. My migraines have completely gone, my night sweats are barely noticeable and my sleep has improved too. I can highly recommend Suzanne and will continue seeing her.

I initially attended Suzanne at Drogheda Acupuncture and Wellness Clinic as I was experiencing heavy periods and excessive tiredness, I received treatment once a week initially and gradually, when I began to feel much better after a couple of weeks, I moved to once a month. The treatments were relaxing and informative and resulted in increased energy along with a much more regular and lighter cycle.
Then when the time came I received fertility treatment from Suzanne and fortunately became pregnant the following month on both occasions and I now have two beautiful boys. I cannot recommend the treatment I received from Suzanne high enough.

I first had Acupuncture treatment with Suzanne a number of years ago when I had postnatal depression. I found it very effective and continued to go regularly over the years for PMT, to regulate my cycle and in my next pregnancy. I don't like the needles too much but the benefits are too good to ignore. I regularly suggest acupuncture and recommend Suzanne to pregnant women as part of my role as a midwife, especially for babies in the breech position.
