Dr. Ramirez’ eldest son follows in his father's footsteps, he was born in Nicaragua, he moved to Ireland in his teenage years and became a Clare man. Alvaro worked in retail initially and this is where he learned his customer service skills (literally the customer service desk). He always strived to make sure everyone’s issues were resolved as easily and quickly as possible.

With his gifted hands and his gentle manners Alvaro Jr. has a special interest on how the physical body can recovers from different injuries fast and effectively, hence taking an interest in joining the practice as an assistant while earning qualifications as a licenced acupuncturist. Now as a fully qualified practitioner, he is Dr. Ramirez’ right hand man.

Alvaro Jr finds true satisfaction in helping people regain control of their lives, freeing themselves from debilitating conditions. He is always looking to bring back patients to their favourite sport, hobby or simple everyday activities as soon as possible.

He brings patience, professionalism and determination to every treatment, always committed to achieve the best results. The sky is the limit as he continuous to grow and learn on his way to becoming an expert in TSR treatment.

When not at work, Alvaro Jr enjoys looking after his beautiful daughter and girlfriend. He is quite the baker and knows his way around the kitchen. He is also known to enjoy a computer game.

Richard joined Chiren in May 2019 and he assists the practice from a treatment and admin perspective.

With patient engagement being his favourite part of the job, Richard goes the extra mile in client care. Always with a smile on his face and his calm manner, Richard puts patients at ease from their very first visit, enabling them to relax from the minute they step into the clinic. Richard believes that the patients can sometimes be slightly nervous as they don’t know what to expect, and so he tries to explain how the therapy works and walks them through each step.

Richard considers his role a very rewarding one, as he sees the results and the progress of each patient first hand and on a daily basis. As he puts it, “I have witnessed an endless amount of ‘miracles’”, starting with something as simple as going up the stairs instead of using the lift. For many, this is the patient’s first goal.

His love for the job allows him to live the excitement the clinic’s patients experience when they react to the treatment so quickly and positively. Also the fact that he can meet amazing people and witness incredible events happen every day.

Richard is keen in developing his skills and becoming a qualified practitioner in the near future.
