Acupuncture is a key Chinese therapy that has been used for centuries. It is
based on the theory that energy, which is known as “Qi”(

)that flows around the body through the channels called “meridians”

). This type of therapy involves the insertion of the fine needles
at specific acupuncture points on the body for therapeutic purposes.
Dr Goran Chan (Chan Ka Hei) is a fully qualified Chinese Medicine
practitioner. She has practiced for over 12 years. She gained her Bachelor
degree (BSc) at University of Hong Kong in 2007, and a Master degree (MSc) at
Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2009. She also successfully finished her
specialty training in 2010-2011 at one of the famous Chinese medicine Hospital
– XiYuan Hospital, and certified a Doctorate (Phd) in Chinese Medicine at GuangZhou
University of Chinese medicine in 2014. Her area of expertise are:
