I had sleeve gastrectomy surgery and my family members had eclipse balloons. It was a wonderful experience for us with the whole medical team led by Professor Ali, Nurse Sude, translator Mohammed, Ali Musthapa and nurses at Ward 3. They've been very meticulous and professional in attending to our medical needs. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs such professional medical attention and hygiene at very affordable prices. 😀

Fabulous experience from start to finish. Medical treatment was phenomenal and very thorough. All staff were professional and friendly and extremely helpful. I was put at ease at every stage and had no fears.

I had my surgery with Aktif at vital hospital with Dr Ibrahim Agackiran on the 4th of July 2023. Dr Ibrahim is great, seems to know what he’s doing and is very professional. The surgery went well, and I’m currently down 7 kg in 1 week!! Here are some pros and cons of the surgery and some things to think about if you want to have the surgery. Pros: +The surgeons/doctors at the facility are very professional and good at their job. +The guide/translator Luca was great, super nice and helpful. +I feel great after the surgery but it's a huge adjustment. +They’ve been very helpful at answering all my questions now afterwards and they are quick to reply to you. Cons: - Most of the nurses at the facility don’t speak English so it’s hard to communicate with them but they are very friendly and try their best to help you. -I wasn't given proper info/instructions about my medications (especially the blood thinner syringes I had to give myself). I had to kinda figure it out on my own. I wish they would have shown me how to do it while I was at the hospital. -I wasn’t told how to properly care for the wounds/incisions after the surgery so two of them are infected now. I tried to care for them to the best of my ability and they will hopefully clear out in a couple of days with the antibiotics. -Doctors in Sweden don’t want to help me as much now because I’ve had surgery abroad.

I was received warmly from the airport in a lovely VIP transfer 5*. I was then taken to the hotel which was clean and comfortable. The driver also picked me up in the morning and handed me over to Irem who I must say was so amazing, she made me feel at ease and was there most of the way to explain what was being said. The ward staff were brilliant and the consultant also paid me a visit prior to the procedure which I found reassuring. I only wish Irem was allowed to come into theatre with me until I was asleep. I had the option to stay in the hospital till my flight that evening but decided to go back to the hotel. I also got some advice from the dietician before my departure but unfortunately, she was unwell for the follow-up call, I was however given all the information I needed. Definitely good value for money and would use them again.

My experience from start to finish was 100% excellent. I got a gastric sleeve. Asli was amazing and made me feel so relaxed and answered all my questions. The hospital was spotless, the nurses were excellent and my surgeon was so lovely and approachable.. I would use AYT again for any thing 😊😊

I had VSG with Clinichub on the 12/10/2020 and I couldn’t be happier with my results and the service I received from Clinichub. From the time I was picked up from the airport to surgery day I felt like I was in safe hands and if I had any questions; I always had someone to clarify things for me. The hotel was amazing and nurses and doctors check up on you regularly even at the hotel. Currently my dietician communicates with me on a daily basis and checks up on what I’m eating and how I’m feeling. I would definitely recommend Clinichub to anyone looking to have VSG surgery, you won’t be disappointed.

I can’t recommend this place enough! From the moment I stepped off the plane I was looked after and made to feel so welcome and safe. The surgeons were absolutely amazing, the nurses were attentive and so caring, I don’t have a bad word to say. If your like me and looking for a safe place outside the u.k to have surgery and change your life this the place to go. I will definitely be going back if I need any body contouring after I lose all this weight!

Highly recommend. I had a gastric ballon six months ago. I lost 20 kg with the support and great advices from Dietitian Nur. Dr Kaplan is a very good doctor with huge experience and always want the best option for patient. It was a good experience. Also good value for money.

I had my gastric sleeve surgery on 26/04/22. It had been booked for a few months and in that time Fatih the coordinator was very patient and very helpful at answering my 1 million questions. Upon arrival at airport on 25/04, I was picked up by a lovely driver who made me feel at ease, I then was took to the hospital for covid tests and then dropped at hotel. All arrangements for the next morning were sent to me that day so I knew the schedule. I was picked up from hotel on morning of 26/04 and had to fast from 11pm the night before. I was immediately impressed with how clean and modern the hospital department was and how friendly the staff were. All the tests were explained to me and performed promptly. The surgeon Dr Bora came round and was so friendly and made me feel at ease. He explained they would do the endoscopy and the surgery under the same anaesthetic to minimise the risk. He also gave me a time for my surgery which gave me time to mentally prepare. I had my surgery in the afternoon of 26/04 and was sleepy and in some pain (mainly gas pain) for the next 24 hours. The nurses were very helpful and always asked if I wanted pain relief or help. I can't thank them enough. I spent two days in the hospital and then two days in a hotel before flying home. I would highly recommend the surgery and the clinic. Very professional, very customer service focused, made me feel at ease and the care was first class. I also had no transfers or taxis to pay, I was driven everywhere by the clinic drivers, given medication, a diet plan no instructions on how to start moving around.

I just want to share I had a gastric sleeve on 2nd June 2022 . Arrived home 5th June. Start weight 17stone 2 horrific as I am 5foot 1. Wow what an excellent experience. I was nervous but my assistant Deniz and driver Rustu made every fear disappear straight away. Rustu even shared his own personal experience of sleeving which was commendable. Pre op checks unbelievable, lung expert, cardiologist, scans, ct scan, xrays blood tests much more than I feel would happen in the UK hospitals. My surgeon and his team are fantastic and the aftercare team can't thank enough. Nurses down to the cute ladies who clean the rooms. Thank you also to Eren the dietitian your advice is simple and clear. Cleanliness- 100% professionalism- 100%. My Turkish is rubbish and I was ashamed to say this .... everyone's English was spot on (I will try to learn for my next visit I promise)! If they said I had to do it again tomorrow I would be on the next flight. Easy, uncomplicated and 100% care on the highest level. Thank you all so so much and excited to reverse diabetes and feel human again. Forever grateful to the clinic in Antalya. Thank you Dr Mani and Dr Nurallah, you are the best of the best!! I feel like I've said goodbye to my little family.

The staff and nurses were very helpful. At first I had pain and nausea, on the second day it was a little better. I look forward to the next recovery period.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank every individual who took care of me during my stay. Dr. Cenk for his service, he made me feel at ease although I was very nervous before the surgery. A great hospital and fantastic service. Cleanliness was 10/10. Sevim made the journey very comfortable. She is a true ambassador to the hospital, I felt very comfortable with her at all times. The nurses are so kind and caring which made my experience even better. By far the best experience I have had so far definitely recommend Anadolu Hastanesi to anyone considering weight loss surgery. I would like to Thank You So Much for everything, to the Global Health and BookingSurgery. My coordinator was amazing and answered all questions and doubts, the support was incredible. Because even though my surgery is done, she made herself available if I need any support. I had such an amazing experience during my stay in the Optimed International Çorlu Hastanesi. I had Dr Ali Tardu as my surgeon and he was amazing, very attentive, and checked on me regularly. I can say that I had fun during my stay. All the staff that worked on the 6th floor, Nurses and Housekeepers that were in contact were amazing, friendly, kind, caring and patient. It felt like home. The only "negative" thing was with the kitchen staff from the hospital, not negative but they were not prepared for people with gluten intolerant and vegan. That was mentioned in advance before I booked the surgery and when I arrived at the hospital. With me it was not a big problem because I was not eating but my friend is gluten intolerant and they kept giving her food with gluten, I mentioned it to the staff and they gave her an alternative but not much. The other negative thing was that they did not understand one of my allergies, I mentioned to my coordinator that I have allergies to latex before I booked the surgery and I also mentioned in the hospital when I arrived, but kept using latex gloves during all stay, the only time that did not used was during the surgery because I see them with the latex free gloves and they kept saying no latex.

There are very few clinics left that you can trust. One of them is JFS. I congratulate the founder, doctors, and employees for their ethical behaviour. Many of my friends had surgery in Turkey. I was going to give up going when I heard about their bad experiences. Later, I made my decision with courage. It was an excellent experience from start to finish. Izmir is wonderful, sunny weather, sea. After the surgery, I said that I wanted to take a tour of the Virgin Mary in Ephesus. They organised it immediately. Thank you for everything.

18/07/2022. Grand medical hospital. I was recommended by my friend for a gastric sleeve who couldn’t fault this hospital and Dr.Osman and Melih our interpreter. I was super anxious about coming from England with translation etc. Melih was very communicative from start and I have no doubt if I ever need anything in the future. He picked us up from airport and was lovely to speak to and very easy going, good English. Everything was explained thoroughly. Dr. Osman came to see me every day, and answered any questions I had. I didn’t feel concerned or uncomfortable at all. I had a bit of pain after the procedure (which is normal) but the nurses on the ward and Mel was constantly coming and checking on me and seeing if I needed anything and giving me painkillers and constantly checking vitals bp etc. Hospital super clean and very on top with food, cleaning, towels etc. I’m on day 5 now and feel brilliant. Mel really couldn’t do enough for me. Would 100% recommend! Thank you Grandmedical.
