Treatment: Total Hip Arthroplasty, and post-op rehab. I am no stranger to ‘Health Tourism’, and contacted several clinics in other countries for the same operation – total hip replacement on one side. I contacted KCM Clinic after reading reviews and details on ‘What Clinic’ website. From that point on, I was most impressed with the speed, detailed information and costs sent by KCM, such that I decided to go ahead and have my hip replaced by them in preference to others. The UK NHS was a total non-starting failure. Every single aspect of the visit from arrival in Wroclaw to homeward journey was almost ‘micro-managed’ with superb efficiency. Transport from/to the airport, hotel arrangements, transport to/from the clinic nearby, pre-surgery assessments, surgery and hospital clinic stay, daily physiotherapy afterwards, all happened extremely smoothly. Yes, there was quite a bit of ‘waiting around’ at times during pre-op assessment, some of it caused by my own request for further cardiology assessment. The actual hip replacement operation occurred as arranged and was very straightforward. The level of care from clinic staff was exceptionally high, the coordinator was extremely helpful and accommodating at all times, the surgeon attended every day after the operation to check on progress and even changed the dressing himself, and the rehab. The physiotherapist always gave superb individual attention to maximise post-operative mobility. A very detailed discharge pack was handed to me when leaving the clinic, including CDs of all X-rays and diagnostic images, ready to pass on to the GP when returning to UK (in Polish, though – but I’m sure it can be well understood in medical circles). Can I recommend them? Without reservation! What about language? Polish is spoken throughout, but nearly everyone has a good command of English or German so communication was never an issue. I was continually impressed by the clinic, and they showed what true ‘health care’ is all about. All-in-all it has been the most positive experience, well beyond my expectations, and one that I will repeat soon for the other side! Thank you so much, KCM.

Having contemplated surgery for a really long time due to having a medical condition called thrombocytopenia, I finally decided the time was right and had a consultation with Mr Awf Quaba. From initial email enquiry, to consultation and surgery, the entire process was absolutely faultless and I was made to feel extremely reassured throughout the entire process. Due to my thrombocytopenia the procedure was far more complex than a standard mastopexy procedure as I required a platelet transfusion before and after surgery along with an overnight stay in hospital, a number of consultants and nurses were involved in this process and I honestly can’t thank them all enough. My safety and care was absolutely paramount and I felt this from everyone who was involved in my care. I am absolutely delighted with the outcome and cannot thank everyone involved enough. I’ve had bbl, breast lift, jaw contouring, under-eye filler, wrinkle treatment and butt augmentation with filler after weight loss. Am I forgetting something? Clearly since I keep coming back everything went great and I don’t trust anyone else that much. These procedures have made me the best version of myself and gave me confidence. I feel super safe going into surgery or doing something minimally invasive and I know for sure that my doctor is there making sure everything will go smoothly. Also, he will never lie just to sell you something. He will inform you in full detail what to expect and he will tell you honestly if he thinks you are a good candidate for such procedure or if you even need it. I originally went in for a consult on removing a large mole, IPL, dimpleplasty, and a Thread Lift for my nose bridge. But after speaking with Dr. Tham, it was clear my main concern was pain and after appearances. I ended up getting a sub Q injection for my nose, no dimpleplasty but went for an IPL and mole removal. The overall experience was pretty painless and perhaps the nose turned out the best. (A week later I am still healing so I can’t say how well the other treatments turned out.) My other fear was also to have a doctor sell me treatments I didn’t need or wouldn’t fit me, and It went perfectly fine. The consult was a true consult and I felt more educated on the processes and he addressed all my concerns. If I am in Singapore again, I would go here for treatment! (Also the appointment process was smooth too and the nurses very nice!)

The anaesthesia was the hardest part and hurt like hell but the procedure was successful and now try become beautiful again. The doctor was very proficient and professional. The charge was higher than quoted at $895.68 instead of $850.

Jamie was the most efficient and kindest medical liaison with a quick response time. Dr. Duong and the hospital staff were very thorough and knowledgeable. They checked on me multiple times during the hospital stay and after discharge. I had full body liposuction with minimal and natural fat grafting with a 1-night hospital stay, discharged with medicines and compression garments.

I had my surgery on 9th at 1.30pm. It took around 5 hours to have full vaginal rejuvenation, breast implants (350cc textured Mentors over the muscle) and lipo on my flanks. Dr Ashok did my lipo for free to balance my figure! I had a real attack of nerves the night before and considered cancelling the whole thing, I was convinced it was all going to go wrong! I met with Dr Ashok, the morning of my surgery at 9.30 am. I had been speaking to him for nearly a year via phone and email. I felt very comfortable with him immediately and sure that he already knew exactly what I was looking for. The Medeor hospital in Dubai was really clean and my room was gorgeous. The nurses were so kind to me, helped me with everything before and after the surgery. Going into the theatre was nerve-wracking but again the nurses and Anesthesiologist were very kind. When I came out of surgery I was in the recovery room for around an hour, my husband came and said hi to me there, but I was still quite groggy! I was taken to my luxury bedroom at about 7 pm to stay over for the night. I wasn't in any pain at all and felt positive about my surgery. I struggled to sleep because I started to feel a little anxious about my surgery results and also being in a foreign country in a hospital on my own (I travelled from the UK to Dubai for surgery). The nurses brought me tea, juices, water and my dinner were really nice too). They checked on me and chatted with my regularly which made the whole process pleasant and easy. In the morning once I had eaten breakfast, the nurse told me if I wanted to I was able to stand and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. The first time I stood up I felt a little sick and clammy but managed to brush my teeth and then got back into bed (12 hours after surgery I was up and walking!), I decided to try again so that I could wash my face and try to beautify a little, ok not beautify but maybe a little moisturiser! The second time I got up I felt a lot easier on my feet and put some moisturiser on, my eye cream, sorted my hair out and got back into bed again. Dr Ashok visited me at around 10 am, to check on my results and showed me a picture of my vagina, I nearly cried! I couldn't believe it was me, It was even better than I could have imagined, really so beautiful! He said everything looked like it was doing well and I was allowed to go back to my hotel, I arranged to see him in a few days but we would stay in contact by email and I would send regular pictures to check my healing was on track. I was discharged, given my medications and my Husband came and picked me up, I had around a 30-minute taxi ride to my hotel, which was fine although I was really looking forward to being in bed and resting. I should mention my pain was managed with paracetamol throughout which was absolutely fine! I rested all day yesterday but did manage to get up and have some tea in the Cafe. I had dinner in bed! My chest felt very heavy when I got up, but not terribly painful, my vaginal rejuvenation hasn't hurt at all, I've had vaginal tightening, clitoral hood work, perineum work and fat grafting and the healing is really easy! I was given paracetamol and some stronger painkillers to take if needed, I haven't taken the stronger ones. I woke up this morning and after sleeping well last night, my chest felt very heavy and sore when I woke up. I think it's worse after being laid down for a long period, but not painful enough to worry or take the stronger painkillers. I did feel anxious about how my breasts looked today (I'm a worrier!) I had only seen them from peeking under my compression bra, so really didn't know what to expect at this point. I emailed Dr Ashok and told him I was worried (we are in email contact regularly). He said that I should go to the mirror and have a look. So I nervously did and unclipped my compression bra wow! They are everything I wanted them to be, natural, beautiful, pert and all mine! I can't believe they belong to me! Dr Ashok really is a very special surgeon, he takes so much pride in his clients. I felt like he treated me as one of his family, he cares so much. I feel like a new woman today. I have more healing and I am yet to see the end result but I'm really looking forward to it.
