Nanodance Pilates

(01) 901 0176 ext: 81142 12 Brunswick Place, Dublin, 2
Pilates and Somatic Movement classes taught by Katrin Neue, who is teaching movement since 2000 to all ages. Her holistic and compassionate approach and the idea of working with the body instead of against it make the classes approachable for everyone, no matter the fitness level. Somatic Movement helps you gain a better awareness of your muscles, so you can voluntarily and consciously release them. Back, hip, shoulder and neck pain are only a few of the most common ailments that can be tackled through Somatic Education. You are retraining your brain to send the correct information to the chronically tight, contracted tired muscles. Easy to learn and easy to do to keep you moving pain free. From March 2015, I will also offer one to one sessions of guided Somatic Movement / Clinical Somatic Movement. Pilates classes are taught following a Safe Spine Teaching protocol, flexion (forward bending) is minimized to reduce loading the spine and your disks in a position in which it can cause longterm injuries like herniation and bulging. Katrin is a qualified Pilates Instructor for Mat and Equipment and holds a degree in Dance Education as well as a Master of Arts in Dance Performance.

The treatment is going wellNuala, Dublin, 04 Feb 14

The treatment is going well. However, I feel it is early days yet. I have a little improvement, but not much as yet (only 2 visits). I feel the price is a little high at 65 euro for half hour consultation. I do not have private insurance and need to go every week (260 euro per month is quite a substantial amount to pay).

All good so farEmer, Ireland, 08 Oct 15

Clinic was spotless. Big Tv on wall if you did have to wait. No waiting when arrived. Seen at time of agreed appointment. All staff lovely.

Extremely polite and friendlyAnonymous, Ireland, 11 Nov 14

I went to see Aidan because I had started a fairly rigorous schedule of training for rowing and was having problems with my back and shoulders. The first thing I noticed was the wall of photos and thank you letters from Olympic and National Athletes. There was no waiting time at all and the reception staff were extremely polite and friendly. Aidan isolated the problem and gave me a series of exercises that would help. He also worked on the shoulder to release the tightness. The session lasted 30 minutes. After two weeks of exercises the pain was greatly reduced and I was able to get back to training.
