Eyre Square Dental Clinic

I graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1992. Having spent two years working in the Dublin Dental Hospital and the Eastern and Western Health Boards, I moved west where I joined Dr. Seamus Kilraine in his long established practice at 24 Eyre Square. In 2004 we moved to our current, state of the art, premises at 1st Floor, 1 Prospect Hill, Eyre Square, in the centre of Galway city. This move has allowed us to embrace the latest technologies and deliver the most up to date and reliable treatments for our patients.

We are committed to continuing our education in order to provide our patients with the most up to date procedures. I have undertaken many postgraduate courses over the years. In 2000 – 2002 I studied at the Eastman Postgraduate Dental Institute in London and obtained Certificates in Restorative and Implant Dentistry. Further courses taken at Nobel Biocare’s Implant facility in Gothenburg, Sweeden have resulted in us being able to provide our patients with an excellent restorative option for missing and failing teeth.

I am a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Association of Dental Implantology and enjoy mentoring colleagues who are interested in introducing implant dentistry into their practice. My passion is tailoring available up to date dental treatments to an individual patients needs to help them achieve optimum dental health and the smile they desire. Our team of dental nurses and receptionists are as committed as I am to this objective.

I graduated from Trinity College, Dublin, in 2004 with honours. Following this, I spent two years in a busy private practice in Cavan. I moved to Galway to join Dr. Fleetwood and the team at the Eyre Square Dental Clinic in 2006. Since then, I have developed a keen interest in endodontics and carry out the majority of root canal treatments at the practice.  I have completed a postgraduate course in endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute in London.

Dr. Fleetwood and I share a keen interest in advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry and I have completed a course in Implant Dentistry provided by Nobel Biocare at their training centre in Gothenburg, Sweden. I also have a special interest in minimally invasive aesthetic composite restorations adopting the Vanini technique.

Dr. Fleetwood & Dr. Woods are ably assisted by their team of dental nurses, Aishling, Stella & Sinead.  Paula, our practice manager oversees the running of the clinic with Eugenie and Linda taking care of the reception desk.  All of our team are happy to answer any questions that you may have regarding treatment, appointments or insurance schemes.  So dont hesitate to ask - we are happy to help!
