Porcelain Crown

These are the most developed crowns in terms of aesthetics as it has strengthened porcelain in its substructure or it is fully made of strengthened porcelain as a block. In these crowns, there is not any metal or zirconium substructure. It can be applied to incisors in which aesthetics is important, in single aesthetic crowns, in bridge administrations which include one or two missing teeth or to materially deficient teeth when laminate appliance is not possible.
 

Dental Implants

An implant is an artificial tooth root made of titanium which is placed in jaw bone surgically. It is used for keeping a denture or a group of dentures in their place. Thus, they serve as if they are natural tooth roots.

Fixed Partial Dentures

Implant-supported fixed partial dentures are prosthesis which are fixed on the implants through screws or adhesives and which are used in order to compensate for the missing teeth and the lost tissue. These type of dentures are immobilized at the mouth and they cannot be put on and put off by patients.
 

Full Dentures

Complete dentures are used when there is no tooth left in the mouth of the patient. These are fully tissue backed dentures as transmission of force, support and attachment are provided when the denture is placed on the surface of tissue.

Fillings

Aesthetic fillings are generally applied to incisors. Aesthetic Filling is generally recommended in undesired situations such as broken or worn teeth, discoloration in teeth or interdental gaps (diastema). Composite fillings are much more healthful, durable and aesthetical than amalgam (black) fillings. Composite fillings are much more superior to amalgam fillings with regards to the attachment to dental tissue. Therefore, they prevent microleakage. Secondary caries, which are present in amalgam fillings are not observed in composite fillings.

Gingival Flap Surgery

Flap Operation is administered in order to fix the bone inside of gum and remove pockets in case of periodontal diseases including advanced deterioration of bone. In this operation, the gingiva is lifted, letting tooth surfaces and bones become visible and then inflamed tissues are removed, tooth surface is straightened and necessary bone fixings are done.
 

Inlay or Onlay

Composite or metal materials are generally used for tooth decay treatment. However, we prefer to use porcelain filling to match the aesthetical requirements and be more strong when the loss of teeth is excessive. These porcelain fillings which we call “inlay” and “onlay”. These fillings are prepared in a laboratory environment following the cleaning of the decay. The treatment ends with a bonding process which resembles porcelain crowning. It is preferred because it is more resistant to wear and the pressure caused by chewing when compared to standard filling materials.
 

Invisalign™

There are no braces in the appliance of invisalign. It seems more decent aesthetically. The patient is subjected to 3D measurements for detecting the present dentition and the aimed improvement. Special invisalign is prepared considering the results of the measurements.
 

Root Canals

Root Canal Treatment is a procedure which is administered to heal and save a tooth that is seriously infected or decayed. During the treatment, pulp and tooth nerve are extracted, inside of tooth is cleaned and canal is filled with filling materials. Starting root canal treatment earlier is important for saving the tooth. Untreated decays may cause pulp infection. Dental enamel and dentine lose substance all the way through to root canal and bacteria caused by cavity incur pulp infection.
 

Teeth Whitening

In-Office Whitening is the method of bleaching in a clinical environment under a dentist’s care with the support of a light source. The bleaching agent is highly concentrated. As concentration is higher, whitening is faster. The process is brief. It takes generally one session to complete whitening, it might be 2 sessions in some cases. A session lasts between 30 and 45 minutes.

Then, she completed her undergraduate education by graduating from Marmara University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2003. After the graduation, she worked as dentist in several clinics. Then, she has served as responsible manager in the same foundation for 14 years. She founded Private Tuncer Oral and Dental Health Clinics in 2020. She works as both dentist and responsible manager in Tuncer Dental Clinic. She concentrated her professional works predominantly on Porcelain Laminate Veneers, Empress Crown (full porcelain), Zircon Veneer, Enlay and Smile Design treatments. She attended many congresses and symposiums concerning Aesthetical Dentistry both in the country and abroad.

He completed his master degree in Yeditepe University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, at which he started to study in 2005, with successfully presenting his thesis “Comparison of Carbon Dioxide Laser and Conventional Surgical Methods in Soft Tissue Pathologies in the mouth and Histopathologic Assessment of Collateral Thermal Damage” He also completed is doctorate, which he started at the same department in 2007, with successfully presenting his thesis “Examination of the effects of administration of Pamidronate on newborn rats on dental eruption and the development of mandible”.
