Here is my full detailed review of my treatment with Dr Cem Baysal: I first got in contact with Dr Baysal in the summer of 2022 after vast online research for dental work abroad. I came across Dr Baysal on whatclinic as he was number 1 rated in Istanbul. He had THOUSANDS of fantastic reviews backed up with decades of experience as well as being a professor in dentistry at multiple universities across Europe. It seemed a no-brainer to go with Dr. Baysal. I contacted Dr. Baysal via WhatsApp and gave him a brief overview of my dental situation and what I require. He then proceeded to make suggestions and sent his price list and fees for various treatments. Once I booked my flights he booked me in for an initial consultation the day after I land in Istanbul. I arrived in Istanbul November 2022 and discussed what I desired and created a treatment plan with Dr. Baysal. Upon reviewing the tomography (£35) Dr. Baysal advised I can have 3 dental implants for my missing teeth. The next day Dr. Baysal performed the initial implant surgery. I was given plenty of anaesthetic in and around the implant area so the surgery was painless. Just some pushing and pressure in the jawbone as you can imagine with inserting implants. Once the anaesthetic had worn off there was a little bit of pain but nothing ibuprofen couldn’t deal with. Dr. Baysal prescribed me 5 days worth of antibiotics to take post-surgery to avoid any potential infections. After the surgery, I was able to return home and needed to return after 5-6 months; known as the osteointegration period. After 6 months I returned in May 2023 to finish my treatment. Again this was an easy WhatsApp message to Dr. Baysal to let him know of my return. Upon returning I had another tomography to review the implants and make sure they were successful which they were. Now we could proceed with completing the dental implants. As well as the dental implants I discussed crowning 6 of my other upper teeth to create a nice natural smile. Dr. Baysal said this was possible so we created impressions for the crowns on my natural teeth and the dental implants. The preparation for the crowns was painless, performing ‘shoulder preparation’ which is a high-level skill to maintain gum health and the life of your teeth. Dr. Baysal and his fantastic dental nurses always provide plenty of anaesthetics to make sure you don’t feel anything throughout the procedure. Once my teeth were prepped for crowns and my implants ready for abutments and crowns Dr. Baysal placed temporary crowns over my teeth (mimicking my natural teeth) so I could carry on eating and drinking as normal. 6 days had passed and my crowns were ready to be fitted. This again was painless, the only uncomfortable parts of the process were the cold air on my prepped teeth which were sensitive and finishing the tightening of the dental implants. Once this was completed Dr. Baysal made sure my bite was correct and everything was secure and that I was happy with my new smile. Which I absolutely am! My treatment of 3 dental implants and 6 zirconium crowns came to roughly €7000 (£6000 £1=€1.15). This was half of what the treatment would have costed at my private dentist in the UK. Dr. Baysal’s clinic is located in the very affluent area of Nisantisi in Istanbul so it’s a pleasant stay in one of the many affordable local hotels. I have recommended Dr. Baysal to at least a dozen friends and family in the week after finishing my treatment and returning to the UK. They love my smile and the natural look of my teeth. Dr. Baysal offers a very natural-looking solution, making sure your crowns are shaped and in a shade that match your natural teeth. Dr. Baysal is a master in what he does. You’re probably reading this review as you are looking to come to Turkey for affordable dental treatment. Dr. Baysal’s prices are on the higher end for Turkey’s standards but his reviews and skills speak for themself and compared to UK prices, very affordable! Thank you Dr. Baysal and team. I came to Dr. Cinik all the way from Washington DC, USA. I came to get my hair transplant, teeth whitening, and jawline filler. Service was outstanding and staff members are absolutely friendly. Very knowledgeable staff and I totally recommend it to everyone. Ps. Hair transplant is not painful and I do it again if I have to. :)

I had a revision rhinoplasty with rib cartilage, chin reduction and buccal fat removal last week (April 5th 2023 ). The whole service of this clinic is excellent. From the transport, hotel to doctor and staffs are very good. The staffs are very helpful and nice. The doctor communicate with me what exactly he wanted to do with me and listen what I want to achieve from my look. Initially, I planned about getting a revision rhinoplasty and chin shaving. But when. We meet in person he suggests me to do buccal fat removal also. I like the whole result. The swelling on my cheek healed first. I like it a lot. Chin is still deswelling but superfast. Still waiting for my nose tape to be taken out but already see the result that I want to achieve. I recommended Dr. Gorkem Atsal to my Indonesian friends since many of them curious when I posted it in my IG. I’ll be back. :)

I was in urgent need of periodontal treatment, as diagnosed in the UK at a huge cost !! I also, as well as my husband needed implants. We contacted a handful of dental clinics in Istanbul and decided to have our treatment at Ihlamur Dent as Dr Karabey's response to our many questions showed he was thoughtful, knowledgable and caring. We left to him some decisions (regarding expensive v cheaper options) and he opted for the best solution after examining our teeth, leading to a lower-cost option for me. We felt very comfortable with Dr Karabey. He explained the treatment each step of the way and post-op, my severe gum disease is showing all the signs of a healthy set of teeth !! Our implants are complete and we will be going back to Dr Karabey for our crowns. Overall, a very, very positive (and relatively cheap) experience - we paid approx. 25-35% of the price it would have cost us in London. The after-care medication was a fraction of the UK cost (I would say 5-10% of UK pharmacy prices). We would highly recommend this clinic and Dr Karabey in particular.

Had my teeth whitened 2 weeks ago and totally happy with the results. Big thanks to Mr. Kübra Ulutaş for his support throughout the whole process.

The treatment was amazing I really loved the results on my teeth they were broken and on an incline before but after they made them straight and fixed I am so happy with the results as they have fixed my smile also. the staff was so helpful and spoke English so there was no miscommunication and they made my teeth just as I had asked. I would highly recommend.

I just came back from the clinic. I had concerns because I am doing the all-in-6 in the upper jaw plus 3 implants on the lower jaw. Dr Meryem was very supportive and Dr Beliz was the best dentist I could ever found. No pain. Amazing staff, good location and excellent service. Looking forward for the next visit around Easter to finish the treatment. Strongly recommend it to anyone!

We felt comfortable throughout the entire process, and we built a very good relationship with the English team. We were not required to pay upfront either. Treatment included Accommodation & VIP Mercedes transfers. Surgery is perfectly in the heart of all popular food and tourist destinations. So we were able to turn the visit into a relaxing holiday at the same time. Will 100% recommend it.
