  • Price was actually a little lower than quoted. I made appointment on the phone for two days later at 9 AM. I arrived on the day, a little early, but they were able to take me immediately as I was the first patient. I am very pleased with the treatment: it's gentleness and thoroughness. Dentist made several recommendations, and I told him particular problems of the infection/extraction. He said a regular extraction would be adequate, and he was correct. Pain before dental work was so bad that I needed three shots of novocaine. (He tried two, then waited, and added a third at my request.) When he did the extraction, it was so gentle and gradual that I did not realize he had finished until he showed me the tooth. He then gave info on aftercare and prescriptions which I had filled nearby. He answered all my questions clearly, and spoke English fluently. I intend to return, probably in May, for further dental work. Afterward, I met an American couple in the reception area who were waiting for treatment, They said they had been there before, had gotten veneers and implants, and were very pleased. They did say they were treated by a different dentist at Simply Dental than the one I used. Overall, I found the treatment very good and travel experience relatively easy, with ease of parking, border crossing, and walking around Los Algodones afterward. The town is perfectly safe. I enjoyed visiting it, and also eating delicious Mexican food. I also discovered how inexpensive prescriptions and optical services are. I intend to return in a few months.Martha, US, 10 Mar 13

  • Because of the travel time to get to Los Algodones, you need to be prepared to be in the dental chair 4-5 hours since the work is done in 3-4 days as opposed to stateside dentists who would do the work in 4 or 5 appointments spread over several weeks.
