I needed 7 crowns, 2 for cosmetic reasons and the other 5 to replace very old fillings. The price is definitely more competitive than that in the USA even with dental insurance. The speed of delivery of service and the quality of the work is superb. I had visited another clinic upon a friend recommendation, but this time I did my research and found that Urzola clinic is one of the best 5 in Costa Rica. And it stands up to its reputation. From the time I sent an email inquiring about the clinic I was followed with curtesy and all my questions were answered. I even received a personal call from Dr. Urzola to discuss my plan of care ahead of time, and he was on vacation with his family!! The equipment is state of the art even though in a modest building. But that didn’t bother me. I concentrate on technique and professionalism. The rest is just gravy.

I only have good things to say about my experience. Gabriel was awesome he picked me up from the airport took me straight to the clinic. No time was wasted I was immediately seen and the treatment commenced. I had a bridge and crown replaced. I also veneer put in. Everything went great and super quick because I only had a 6 day stay. I am totally happy with my Hollywood smile. All done for a1/3 the cost in the US. I will posting updates if possible in 6 months. Thank you Gabriel for all your assistance.

I came to Costa Rica at the end of February 2023 to work with Dr. Gadea and I had a wonderful experience. I was referred to him by a number of his patients who had successful experiences with him, and they live in North Carolina. The doctor and I emailed back-and-forth since the fall. He never hesitated to get back to me as soon as possible when I had questions. As a woman on my own, traveling to Costa Rica for dental work, I felt safe and secure, I felt supported and listened to by Dr. Gadea and his lovely staff. Everyone was kind and considerate. Everyone speaks wonderful English as well. His office has state of the art equipment to help further diagnose. My treatment plan consisted of six veneers, a root canal and a crown, a deep cleaning over my six veneers as well as teeth whitening. Dr. Gadea is an artist. He did an amazing job on my six front teeth. He did a fabulous job on my teeth in general. Even the anesthesia the doctor used seemed cleaner than the products they use at my general dentist in North Carolina. I am so grateful for him and his wonderful staff. I am so relieved that I am in network with Dr. Gadea. I will be going back every year that I can because I trust him with his superior artistic skills and his exemplary technical skills.

Seven of my family members and a few coworkers have gone to Dr Calvo for dentistry work. So while my sister was travelling to have work done that she was quoted $31,000 in the USA, I decided to go with her and have some minor work done. I was so amazed how smooth the whole process is. From the second you land at the airport and Olger picks you up, through the initial check-up by Dr Calvo and the estimate to go the work to the work being done for a fraction of the cost of US dentist. Dr Calvo and his staff are very professional, speak fluent English explains everything he can do for you and the price. While having the work done they are caring and gentle. My sisters total price was $3400 compared to the $31,000 estimate she received in the USA. She didn’t need as much as she was told by the US dentist but did receive four root canals and a bridge with six teeth, as well as a deep cleaning. All done within two visits/ two days. Surprisingly she had NO PAIN whatsoever. I just had a deep cleaning, three silver/mercury fillings I got when I was a child replaced, and a whitening treatment and paid right at $500 No pain and now I have the most shiniest teeth that I have had in years. The office is well equipped and very clean. The shopping centre is very nice and clean At the end of the shopping center is a very nice grocery store that has everything you could possibly need. So happy I finally decided to come to see for myself how wonderful Dr Calvo and Olger are. Absolutely the BEST.

I have had my teeth cleaned and some fillings done. They have taken such good care of me and my family. Everyone in the office does a great job and are very attentive to all of their clients. They all treat you like family and make you feel welcome.

My experience with Prostho Studio was a wonderful experience. I have a fear of dentists and the doctor and his assistant made me very comfortable. I had no pain as I got my numbing injections. I would like to extend my gratitude to the Dental World doctors and staff for their commitment to providing great dental services. As far as my treatment goes, after a thoughtful consideration about the difference orthodontic options, I decided on the Invisalign treatment. I started the treatment back in February 2023 and everything has been running smooth. After the initial evaluation, I received the Invisalign aligners within two weeks. All the aligners were sent to the dentist office by Invisalign. However, the doctor would provide new sets by intervals, more or less every two to three months apart. Within each interval, I would have teeth adjustments (tooth filing) to make small gaps between my teeth to ensure accurate teeth movement. Then, I would continue with the treatment. As of today, I am on the final stages of the treatment, and my teeth and smile look good. In sum, I would definitely recommend the Invisalign treatment at Dental World, plus you can’t beat the prices in comparison to the USA overpriced orthodontic treatments.
