I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a seamless journey from the airport to the hotel and to the clinic. The whole process went exceptionally smoothly, thanks to an amazing team who really went above and beyond. The level of helpfulness and friendliness of the team was remarkable. From the moment I arrived, I felt well taken care of. I was at the clinic for a dental implant (single stage) and I must say that the doctors demonstrated a high level of competence. Their expertise and professionalism was evident throughout the procedure. I am really pleased with the overall experience and positive outcome of the dental implant. Without hesitation, I would recommend this service to anyone who may be in doubt or looking for exceptional care. Many thanks to the entire team for making my visit memorable and satisfying. Here is my full detailed review of my treatment with Dr Cem Baysal: I first got in contact with Dr Baysal in the summer of 2022 after vast online research for dental work abroad. I came across Dr Baysal on whatclinic as he was number 1 rated in Istanbul. He had THOUSANDS of fantastic reviews backed up with decades of experience as well as being a professor in dentistry at multiple universities across Europe. It seemed a no-brainer to go with Dr. Baysal. I contacted Dr. Baysal via WhatsApp and gave him a brief overview of my dental situation and what I require. He then proceeded to make suggestions and sent his price list and fees for various treatments. Once I booked my flights he booked me in for an initial consultation the day after I land in Istanbul. I arrived in Istanbul November 2022 and discussed what I desired and created a treatment plan with Dr. Baysal. Upon reviewing the tomography (£35) Dr. Baysal advised I can have 3 dental implants for my missing teeth. The next day Dr. Baysal performed the initial implant surgery. I was given plenty of anaesthetic in and around the implant area so the surgery was painless. Just some pushing and pressure in the jawbone as you can imagine with inserting implants. Once the anaesthetic had worn off there was a little bit of pain but nothing ibuprofen couldn’t deal with. Dr. Baysal prescribed me 5 days worth of antibiotics to take post-surgery to avoid any potential infections. After the surgery, I was able to return home and needed to return after 5-6 months; known as the osteointegration period. After 6 months I returned in May 2023 to finish my treatment. Again this was an easy WhatsApp message to Dr. Baysal to let him know of my return. Upon returning I had another tomography to review the implants and make sure they were successful which they were. Now we could proceed with completing the dental implants. As well as the dental implants I discussed crowning 6 of my other upper teeth to create a nice natural smile. Dr. Baysal said this was possible so we created impressions for the crowns on my natural teeth and the dental implants. The preparation for the crowns was painless, performing ‘shoulder preparation’ which is a high-level skill to maintain gum health and the life of your teeth. Dr. Baysal and his fantastic dental nurses always provide plenty of anaesthetics to make sure you don’t feel anything throughout the procedure. Once my teeth were prepped for crowns and my implants ready for abutments and crowns Dr. Baysal placed temporary crowns over my teeth (mimicking my natural teeth) so I could carry on eating and drinking as normal. 6 days had passed and my crowns were ready to be fitted. This again was painless, the only uncomfortable parts of the process were the cold air on my prepped teeth which were sensitive and finishing the tightening of the dental implants. Once this was completed Dr. Baysal made sure my bite was correct and everything was secure and that I was happy with my new smile. Which I absolutely am! My treatment of 3 dental implants and 6 zirconium crowns came to roughly €7000 (£6000 £1=€1.15). This was half of what the treatment would have costed at my private dentist in the UK. Dr. Baysal’s clinic is located in the very affluent area of Nisantisi in Istanbul so it’s a pleasant stay in one of the many affordable local hotels. I have recommended Dr. Baysal to at least a dozen friends and family in the week after finishing my treatment and returning to the UK. They love my smile and the natural look of my teeth. Dr. Baysal offers a very natural-looking solution, making sure your crowns are shaped and in a shade that match your natural teeth. Dr. Baysal is a master in what he does. You’re probably reading this review as you are looking to come to Turkey for affordable dental treatment. Dr. Baysal’s prices are on the higher end for Turkey’s standards but his reviews and skills speak for themself and compared to UK prices, very affordable! Thank you Dr. Baysal and team. Just home from a two week holiday in Turkey and whilst out there I decided to give Dr Kubra a visit at Dent Medica and I wasn't disappointed. Dr Kubra cleaned and whitened both my upper and lower teeth and bonded my upper six teeth to close some gaps that I had. The clinic is very modern and clean and the environment is very professional plus they have the lovely translator Sarah on hand to keep you informed before, during and after your appointment. I once visited Mrs. Gonca in Antalya. She helped me a lot, so I overcame my fears. I never thought that I could have implant treatment without fear. Two years ago, unfortunately, I had to have one of my front teeth removed, and the gap there was bothering me for 2 years. I couldn't laugh, I was afraid to even speak. I had a constant bleeding problem in my mouth for several years. I have tried several dentists in Denmark where I live, they were just guessing, trying and experiencing in me. I was so lucky to find Astra on the internet, I read only positive feedback from earlier customers and then decided to try. When I was trying to contact Astra, I got the ability to contact them on Whatsapp and an extremely sweet girl (Katya) has been my contact person from the first minute, in the sessions and also following up after finishing. I was amazed that the Antoshchenko Natalia, the dentist that I had the honour of visiting, she fixed the problem I had in 2 hours. She was so confident and I felt I was in safe hands. I am seriously thankful and I feel lucky that a problem that has been annoying me for several years is gone now.

The quality of service, the quality of care, the attention to detail and the kindness of the staff made an outstanding experience. I needed a lot of problems solved, including root canal, crown and implant and 8 fillings. Together with a taxi from and to the airport, this was the best solution to my problems with respect to the quality of service and cost.

Dr Maltese was very friendly and courteous and spoke English, he explained my options after examining my tooth. We both decided a temporary fix was better as I would be leaving Rome on Saturday and any follow-up would be impossible. I was very pleased with his work.

I recently had some extensive dental work done by Dr Kole and her team; 4 teeth replaced and veneers. I am so pleased with the results. The clinic is spotlessly clean, and the staff are lovely. I'm not a fan of dentists but I would highly recommend this practice, they were patient, understanding and very accommodating. Excellent value for money.

My boyfriend and I had dental treatment at H-dent. We found the staff to be always courteous and attentive. Our treatment plans included extractions, fillings and crowns. We are delighted with the professionalism, counsel we received and indeed our treatments which were efficient and caring. Cost wise we were very satisfied. The clinic is very conscious of making the overall treatment cost attractive. Despite the fact that our work scope changed while there due to their counsel. Highly recommended!

Exceptionally good service and personal care provided by Dr Arzu and her team. Dr Arzu is meticulous in all aspects of her work ensuring that her patient is comfortable at all times. The standard of hygiene in the clinic is very high, there are even shoe coverings at the front door to put over your shoes before entering, so probably best not to wear flipflops, as I did. Over two appointments I had one root canal, two zirconium crowns prepped and fitted and one white filling done with no pain just the usual numbness for a couple of hours afterwards from the anaesthetic. Dr Arzu is an ethical dentist who will discuss your needs and agree a plan before starting - sometimes with the aid of a translate app to ensure everything is clearly understood. A notable and welcomed point is that Dr Arzu only does white fillings, she does not use amalgam unlike the UK where it is the norm. I highly recommend Arzu Smile Clinic as a forward thinking, state of the art dental clinic situated in Turgutreis. Having had a few bad experiences with UK dentists I am very grateful to have found Arzu Smile Clinic and look forward to returning in the future for all my dental needs. Thank you.

Simply the best in Istanbul! I did an implant, cleaning and crown installation. The price didn’t change (most clinics do that). Dr. Omer and Dr. Ahmet know what they’re doing and customer service is 2nd to none. I highly recommend this clinic due to the service, low-key setting, family culture and price. Thank you again!
